  1. What a fucking performance that was! Every man outstanding!
  2. I don’t even understand what the picture is supposed to show / what incident they’re referring to.
  3. Bruno Fernandes well and truly shown up for the prick he is today…
  4. Errr, Isak has been available for selection for 9 games since he returned from injury. He started 3 of them. It’s not like he’s been banished… just working his way in.
  5. Shame that… overall we didn’t perform badly really… it’s the missed chances that are a real worry. We were looking decent until Trips gave the ball away for the second goal. Fancied us to get back into it before that. Nevermind…anything here would have been a bonus.
  6. The only issue I have with the lineup is I'd prefer to see Isak start. The rest is fine.
  7. I couldn’t give two fucks about Man Utd fans. Every club has a high percentage of absolute whoppers. We certainly do, as evidenced at Wembley.
  8. ? I can only go off my own experience, in Block 133 towards the front, and it was really good where we were. I think it's all location dependent.
  9. I just think you're being completely unrealistic man. Man Utd fans had a wave of support after they scored their second, and another for the last 10 mins of the game. Other than that, they weren't involved. We were incredible until the second goal, and then most of the second half was pretty loud too... not 100% of the time, but in large patches. It's just completely unrealistic to think that fans will be singing for 90 mins... it doesn't happen anywhere in the country. Some fans won't want to sing at all, and that's also fine, and doesn't make them any less of a fan than the radgies who scream obscenities for 90 mins. There's more than one way to show support. In my experience, a lot of times the more vocal fans are also the ones to piss and moan when things aren't going to plan. The quieter fans are generally supportive all the way through the game, but quieter. Really think it's a weird thing to criticise us for on Sunday. It was largely incredible, as most neutrals will testify.
  10. Anyone but Miggy? Anyone but our most hard working top scorer?
  11. We have a tonne of brain dead angry twats in our fanbase… that’s basically it.
  12. Maybe it was specific to your area. I dunno. 133 just in front of you was certainly loud for large portions. But again… it’s unrealistic to expect everyone to be going full pelt for 90 mins.
  13. What I will say though is that passion is shown in multiple ways. There’s a large chunk of our away support who, although they sing when things are going well, spend the rest of the time pissing and moaning and generally being twats. Guy behind me screaming at the players after the second goal went in… “you’re a fucking embarrassment… you don’t deserve to wear the shirt”. Just pricks who use a match day to vent all of the anger from their miserable lives. It’s pathetic. He left to go to the bar 5 mins before half time, and was gone before the end of the game. They’re the ones who claim to be super passionate and vocal, but most of the time it manifests itself in man-child billy-big-bollocks behaviour. It’s not support… it might be loud… but it’s not support.
  14. I genuinely haven’t got a clue what you’re banging on about. Perhaps your section was quiet (so much for sage standing to improve atmosphere), but the seated area of 133, 134 etc behind the goal was standing all game and singing for very large parts of it. Not necessarily blaring out tunes start to finish all in unison, but showing a lot of support and big pockets of songs. I just think you’re unrealistically expecting everyone to be full pelt for 90 mins…it has never been like that and isn’t at any club. Man Utd fans were in large parts quiet as a mouse… certainly until they scored. They were loud at the end of the first half and towards the end of the game. The scarves were pretty pathetic. But that game also didn’t mean as much to them as it did to us. There clearly wasn’t the excitement in the fanbase on the levels of ours.
  15. It was incredibly loud where I was sat for about 50% of the game. Obviously when we went 2-0 it died down a bit, but first 25 mins and then second half I thought it was great. (and I was sitting in block 133… the bit you claim was quiet)
  16. I know what you mean, but he’s a player capable of much more creatively and as proven last season, can pop up with plenty of goals if given the chance. I do think long term we should be looking to try to play him further forward, but for now he’s doing a great job where he is.
  17. Just back to the hotel after quite an amazing day (despite the result). Off the pitch it was a dream come true… walking up Wembley Way, clinging to my little boys’ hands as we walked up the ramp and through the turnstiles, to see the look of amazement on his 8 year old face when we saw the stadium, the flags, the atmosphere. True, life long, memories were made today. I’m so very proud of and grateful to the players, manager, staff and owners for giving me and my boy this moment together. On the pitch I can’t fault the lads effort and endeavour. First goal was dubious at best, some very dodgy decisions went their way, and second goal was just unlucky. We matched them in most other areas. We just lacked the confidence in front of goal. They, quite clearly, just had more game-changers available to them. It’s hard to really pin any blame on anyone, and I have no interest in even trying to. A day I will never forget. And we lost. Just imagine what it’ll be like, in the not too distant future, when we actually do win something. Special times are coming.

That’s basically what I mean. I don’t think it was a purposeful thing… instinctual maybe… Just seems harsh to miss another game / 3 for something so irrelevant. It’s not dangerous. It’s not malicious. It’s a momentary lapse that already cost us in one game.

I don’t think he did it on purpose like. I think slipped, tried to header it, and reached out his arms as he fell down. I don’t think the intention was ever to catch the ball.
  20. Actually quite proud of the team tonight. Other than 3 poor moments from us in the game, I thought we were really good. Looked plenty dangerous. Maxi was great. Big Jo was really good. Almiron put in a massive shift. Isak and Maxi seem to have a bit of rapport. Can’t fault the players effort at all. Pope had a moment of madness but it seems really fucking harsh to miss the final / 3 games for a momentary brain fart. Surely missing 70 mins of a crucial game is enough punishment? Anyway, on to the final. Win as a team. Lose as a team. It’ll be a fucking glorious day either way!
  21. How are where are you buying Club Wembley tickets? I was told you had to commit to a 3 year membership of Wembley to do that, at £2,000 a year!
  22. Absolutely horrific news… bless him. Always thought of him highly as a player in our darkest days. RIP.
  23. To clarify, if Joelinton gets a yellow is he out of the final or not?
