I’d personally keep him. He’s a perfect squad player for the next step we’re taking. You need that kind of energy late on in games coming off the bench. Would sooner see us shift Murphy.

What a fucking night! Unreal atmosphere (Wor Flags to thank for an unforgettable pre-game), and the players were, to a man, incredible. High press, quick passing, Wilson leading the line, Joe breaking up play like a beast, Bruno keeping everything ticking over beautifully. Just a perfect night. This is the reason I fell in love with this club. There’s nothing that compares on a night like tonight ❤️

Probably in the minority but I’m happy for them. We need Newcastle, Sunderland and Boro in the PL again. Much better for the region and much better entertainment.

Pogba is a weird one. People rave about him, but literally every game I’ve seen him in he’s been shocking / offered very little. Clearly technically very good, but as far as I can see doesn’t really put himself into the game.

Judging by their performance yesterday, coupled with what we saw from Chelsea today, I think Leeds are more capable of picking up at least 6 more points. Think they can beat Chelsea and Brighton, and possibly also Brentford. Everton raise their game at home, so I think they will win both their home games. Away form is dreadful, so I can only see them picking up a point from those. So 7 points for them. Burnley will beat Villa at home and draw with us. Can’t see them beating Spurs or Villa away. So 4 points (or possibly 6 if we’re on the beach). I think (hope) Leeds can get out of it, and it come down to the final day between Everton and Burnley. Can’t stand Everton, but Burnley also offer nothing to the PL. Wouldn’t be sad to see either go.

I mean, if Rafa was still there there’s not a chance that they’d be getting relegated like.

Everton go down, Sunderland come up. Want to see Lampard fail, and want to teach the Evertonians a lesson after their treatment of Rafa.

I’ll never understand that viewpoint, but to each their own. Rivalry is good.

I’d much rather have 3 north east teams doing decently well personally. Don’t get me wrong, SOME Sunderland fans are absolute whoppers (but we have plenty ourselves). But largely they’re normal nice north east folk who don’t deserve to have to sit through shit like that week in week out.

Why though?

Now that we’re safe and sound and on a big upward trajectory, I’d actually love to see Sunderland (and Boro) improve. Would be great to have all 3 in the PL again with us as title challengers in 5 years time.

He's harmless enough. Don't really have a problem with him. He's also managing to amass himself a good number of followers / subscribers like. Fair play. Like him or not, he's showing content that people obviously want to see, especially younger generations.

I put in a complaint about the volume of the PA system by the way... it's dangerously loud (in the Milburn stand at least).

The biggest issue I have with the pre and post match music is the volume. It's dangerously loud. I work in music... it actually hurts my ears... god knows what it's doing to kids.

Took my little lad to his first game when he was 5 and he was hooked. Been to 6 or 7 games since then (he’s 7 now). Football is all he talks about, bless him. I think you just have to gauge their interest and take it from there.
