  1. I think it's pretty clear from the murmerings from all involved that we haven't heard the end of it. The statements from all of the buyers for a start, plus little tidbits of information coming from relatively well placed journalists. its sounding like desperation from Stavely specifically, theres nothing to indicate PIF are in any way interested in restarting this. Except for both Stavely and the Reuben's releasing statements that "ALL PARTIES" still want it to happen?

  3. Go on, I'll bite... why exactly does it look ridiculous? If they are being made to jump through hoops that they believe are completely out of line?
  4. Don't share people's pessimism after reading that. It's just an explanation of what has happened up until now, and nothing that we didn't really know. The question is, and has always been, whether the consortium and PL can come to some arrangement moving forward. There is a telling line at the end regarding "continuing" to keep NUFC up to date. I don't think it's over, but it's clearly not close.
  5. I think it's possible to say that you like the 3rd kit, without saying you'd WEAR the third kit, like ? I think it'll look good on the pitch... wouldn't be caught dead wearing it.
  6. Like the third kit. Not keen on the away.
  7. I think it's pretty unknown at this point whether the bid is actually still on the table. I actually don't think much has changed apart from statements from all parties in a last attempt to push it through. Didn't one of the statements say they'd withdrawn? Yeah, and other reports have said it's still there. And the statements from Staveley and the Reuben's both make it pretty clear that things are ready to go immediately on response from the PL. Plus Rocker's info on the consortium talking with the PL still.

  9. There’s 100% something not quite right about him like, but his heart seems to be in the right place.
  10. What he's saying is good but what the fuck is going on with the editing (?) on the video and the chopping and changing, seemingly zooming in and out all the time. Made it unwatchable for me. Had to close my eyes and pretend it was a podcast. Pretty common with YouTueb vloggers. Annoys the hell out of me but 95% of the videos I watch are the same.
  11. He was clown with the MP Chi to do town hall and give Qatar best ammunition to use it the NUFC fans dont want the takeover. ?
  12. I really do feel that this is the last throw of the dice from Stavely. It is designed to heap pressure on the PL. Don’t think it’s over quite yet, but not looking good.
  13. Does Staveley have any left? For a little while, she breaks off. “I’m crying, I’m sorry,” she says. She knew what she wanted to say if and when the takeover had been passed. A mission statement was prepared and practised. She would have talked about ambition and drive, about getting to the Champions League, about communicating with fans, embracing club legends, funding the women’s team, reaching out to local businesses and institutions. Instead, it is this. “I’m trying very hard to understand,” she says. “Today is probably not the right day … I need to figure out if there is any route through this.” “Even now, if the Premier League came to us and said ‘we will approve you’ we would do this deal tomorrow, all three parties of the consortium,” Ghodoussi says. “Mike has agreed, we’ve agreed, the Reubens, PIF,” says Staveley. “The only reason the deal won’t get done is because the Premier League won’t pass it. Everybody is just so, so sad.” Is there a chance, however slim? “I don’t know,” she says. “I just don’t know. I don’t want to give up, but I can’t do it on my own. I’ve tried. I’ve tried and I’ve tried and I’ve tried. You need investment. You can’t just buy a club with no investment behind you. You need £600-700 million minimum, to do a deal like this. That was all in place.” She breaks off again. “I can’t believe it,” she says.
  14. On what basis would they take legal action considering the PL craftily never actually rejected the bid? I don’t know man, I’m not a lawyer. But I’d imagine there’s grounds for legal action if they’ve repeatedly done all that’s asked of them and the goalposts have been continuously moved, eventually resulting in the collapse of the deal. I’m clinging to that last tiny thread of hope anyway.
  15. I guess there is a small glimmer of hope that this is one big power play from PIF to put a huge amount of pressure on the PL to get their fingers out of their arses. The threat of legal action etc. Doubt we’ve heard the last of it.
  16. The structure thing is so clearly bullshit. Clickbait. It would have been among the questions on day 1, not a stumbling point on day 100.
  17. I mean, those quotes are quite clearly guesswork. Remember that only a handful of people at the PL know about this and it's sworn to secrecy, yet Edwards reckons he has a source who knows the ins and outs. Bullshit.
  18. Tomorrow remains the day, when our new owners finally take over. Deluded much? Why? How? In what way? In every conceivable way
