  1. Nice to see Caulkin and Waugh being critical in their tweets tonight.
  2. I’m assuming not, and why should they? A supporters trust shouldn’t get involved in anything that isn’t directly related to the club, surely?
  3. Yeah... except you literally just made that up. Replying to a letter saying you're taking all things into consideration is not breaking confidentiality
  4. Unfortunately you are right on this, apart from in ideal world they should give 2 f#%ks about fans. Their product is looking pretty soulless and uninspiring on the telly at present. It's not the PL's job to do what is best for NUFC fans. It's NUFC's job to do that. It's not the PL's fault that we've been left to rot. That's completely on Ashley. Why do the premier league have fan relation officers then, they do have some duty of care when it comes to fans. Unfortunately in this case they clearly don’t give 2 shits. Just did a quick Google of Premier League Fan Relation Officer... and you guessed it, there's nothing.
  5. Correct on some points, wrong on others. Basically, we are members of the Premier League and should have been treated with RESPECT. It is too late now, for that. There would have been no reason for them not to communicate with us, once or twice, without them breaking ANY 'confidentiality'. Too late now, we know our place. The CLUB is a member of the PL. The fans are not. The PL do communicate with the club... that has been confirmed. If you want to be angry at anyone, be angry at the club for being completely silent throughout it all. So you're saying the club aren't communicating with the manager, given he's asking for clarity? I'm 100% certain that the club are communicating with Steve Bruce. What we heard from him yesterday was likely at the instruction of the club to try to publicly hurry the PL. But of course he'll know as much as Charnley allows him to know.

  8. You guys are actually hilarious, acting like you have any idea whatsoever about how delicate the whole situation and implications are for the PL. They are, of course, going to take however long they need to make it completely watertight. They don't owe us anything. They have intellectual property to protect, the well being of all of the PL clubs, and the image/standing of the league throughout the world to consider. I doubt they give two fucks, nor should they, about NUFC fans or Steve Bruce being impatient.
  9. Rafa in the league to grind out a point (or try to keep the goal difference respectable). Bruce, bizarrely, in a cup quarter final.
  10. Better seasons though? Manquillo maybe but I still don't rate him. Don't think Dubs or Fernandez have had better seasons?
  11. Don’t think that’s true tbh. Fernandez, Dubravka, Hayden, Manquillo, Shelvey, Lascelles, Ritchie... all here last season, all have arguably had better seasons this year. Agree with Hayden and Shelvey. The rest, nah.
  12. Think this is the worst I’ve seen any football team play!
  13. Am I missing something? Nothing in that article says the PL were infuriated by anything?
  14. It's my birthday tomorrow. A win tonight and a takeover announcement tomorrow please!
  15. Guardian journalist who broke the story about the WTO report said should be decision within days. Fixed your post ?
  16. I somehow doubt the PIF and Reuben brothers would go into a deal with a "hustler/chancer/self-promoter"
  17. So Duncan Castles say indications from the PL are that they'll make their decision this week. But speaking to the buyers, they haven't heard that. So basically he doesn't know if it's true or not. My gut feeling is that it will be rejected, challenged, and the buyers will make the necessary steps to satisfy the PL by officially dealing with the piracy issues. Before eventually getting approved. But who fucking knows any more!
  18. I’ve just read through a bunch of the report, and to me it DOES say that Saudi state are complicit, so I’m not sure why people are moaning at the BBC?
  19. Literally every NUFC fan should be able to see that Saudi Arabia are well out of order in all of this. It's clear as day. Human rights. Piracy. The lot. Why anyone would feel the need to defend them or blame others for scuppering the deal is beyond me. If the deal fails, it's absolutely unequivocally the fault of Saudi Arabia... no one else. Any NUFC fan defending them or blaming it on anyone else just proves that sportswashing works. Or just proves that blind loyalty trumps common sense. For the record, I still hope it goes through from a sporting perspective, but I'd struggle to criticise the PL or anyone else if it didn't.
  20. But we’ve known that they’re behind the piracy for months. I don’t understand why this report will make any difference. The PL will be using it as leverage to end piracy in that region. Still 100% believe the takeover will happen...just have no idea when.
