  1. Canny of Rose that. Here comes big Brad Inman, he's in that Vuckic, Kadar tier of obscure players who were hyped up for/by us.
  2. If Spurs get to the final does it not give them a huge advantage that they'll be playing it effectively at home? I guess the same could be said about Bayern - Chelsea in the Champions League final a few years ago which didn't seem to bother Chelsea that much tbf, so possibly not.
  3. Switched it on just then for the sole purpose of seeing Lucas perform, and he scores within the minute. What I'm trying to say is Spurs fans own that equaliser to me.
  4. Played well - fast and tricky. We should be winning, obviously, but Rochdale have been good. Only irritation was the ref generously deciding not to even card a Rochdale player for what could easily have been a red. As good/bad as anyone else. Not stood out. Seemed like Sissoko kept getting in his way on the right, as if they we're setting up with two wingers. From what I've seen Spurs been pretty s*** in final third and a bit slow. I'll watch the second half then
  5. Ah shit forgot this game was on. How did Lucas play first half, involved much?
  6. You are quoting the word hatred in ridicule - but you have definitely used it to express your views on Mitrovic on this forum - which is pretty weird tbh, certainly more so than people in support of him because they like his attitude. I couldn't disagree more. I dislike him as a player, no doubt, but that's the difference - it's not personal. Anyone liking him and pining for him to start because of his personality, mad antics, and supposed attitude are the weird ones. Same as the freaks who big up Joey Barton and Shola as footballers because of who they are away from the pitch. So going back to the initial point, what was the narrative on show in this page again then? As far as I can see it's just people pleased that he had a good debut for Fulham and that Fulham's fans are happy with him for it. Narrative you say? I'm not so sure, but it seems like your disliking of him is as blinding as those who love him for being a mad c***. Eh? Why would it be those things? It was in response to Disco's post. Sorry, I thought that would be obvious. I see, forgive me I thought it was aimed at the the previous posts in general. Although my point still stands that I think your hatred or disliking of him is just as blinding as those who love him just for the the more extreme sides of his personality. Two sides of the same coin, they will jump to defend him with any given opportunity, and you will jump to detract from him at any given opportunity. Both have a root in some truth, yours being that it is at least based within purely footballing reasons, and theirs in that they like the passion he shows, but both miss the mark imo and fail to address the reality which is that yes he's not perfect individually, but he's a decent footballer and people want to see him do well cause he has a infectious personality. Nothing wrong with that.

  9. 'CATTS' and O'Shea of course.
  10. Good topic of discussion that. Off the top of my head it's Yaya Toure 11/12 when City won 2-0 towards the end of the season. He was sensational.
  11. tbf that could be anywhere in the North East or even the country for that matter...
  12. Looking at those lines I reckon the graphics guy must have had a few himself.
  13. It's a funny one. Whenever I watch them, they seem decent away from home on the break, but that's it. Aside from that they're a typical, boring Mourinho team, but without the truly star players that he's had in the past to make a really strong push for titles that he's had elsewhere. Obviously the players are still very, very good, but as an example Lukaku isn't Drogba, Ibrahimovic, or Benzema (at least at the moment anyway) and why Mourinho keeps insisting on playing Pogba in a two at all, I don't know. Has to fit him in somewhere but can't play him further forward where he should be playing as he can't drop Lingard & the likes who have been much better than Pogba this season. The result is him strolling out of position constantly and not covering his defensive duty.
  14. Because it serves as a nice reflection of the scoreline as seen on the screen in that pic. 0 on top and a few below.
  15. They play Bolton on Tuesday, and then have Boro next weekend. Even if they lose today, they are suddenly given a chance to string some results together and get some momentum going. Yeah that's the key, a run of 3-4 results would give them a huge shout. Problem is I don't think they've won two games in a row all season and they're going to need at least 4-5 wins to survive (more if teams around them pick up points).
  16. Starting to believe they will be relegated. I have been expecting them to put a few wins together and drag themselves out of it all season, could still happen with loads of points still there for the taking, but you look at their team today and it's hard to know where the quality is coming from.
  17. Nah there was just better cowies available there after the New Monkey shut down. Fair enough really.
  18. That the lad who was at everton? Manuel Fernandes, aye. That's his second hat trick in the Europa league this season. That the lad who was at everton? Aye, sure we were linked with him a few years ago. Think he scored one great goal for Everton We were aye, was the season after we finished 5th I think. Dunno how real the links were mind.
  19. What a comeback by Lokomotiv Moscow v Nice.
  20. Ostersund are doing okay now, nice and combative - they just need to start pulling the trigger when they get the opportunities. Tried to overplay a little then.
