I seem to remember Simpson getting rinsed on the regular tbf. You can't really accuse Dummett of the same for a good while now. On Simpson being a hoof merchant, you remember the pass he played to Sissoko to set up Cisse's goal away at Benfica? Glorious He didn’t really get rinsed regularly. He would back off a lot but constantly rinsed? Nah. Aye I think he had another one in that tie. Amazing stuff lol. Fair enough, I probably remember him as a poorer player than he actually was/is. Other than clearing off the line on numerous occasions, I can't remember him being particularly good at anything though.

Sounds a low number but when you factor in Given, Harper & Krul it makes sense.

Wouldn't know either, I'm not in the loop with Fifa & their weekly team thing. Maybe Lascelles has already had it or something. -

In the Man Utd game? Lascelles for me, he was on the end of everything, really impressive. -
Was really funny watching the match Sunday with a decent Liverpool fan. He literally knew all the criticisms people might have of Rafa ahead of me talking about them down to him having a hard on for a specific signing so even if he can't get the player he wants he'll go down to #6 on the list (his example was Joselu!). In games subs and everything, he knew the lot. Thing is he f***ing loves Rafa still, won't have a word said against him. Yeah tbf to them, I read reports from quite a few different Liverpool fans who told us that we'd sometimes be left scratching our heads or outright disagreeing with some decisions he makes, but to stick by him as he's an incredibly thorough manager and it's all part of a grander scheme. They were bang on thus far. People have complained at line ups incessantly this season, but if we end up staying up (and we will), his squad rotation policy will likely have played a massive role in it.

Would've suggested those 2 games as well. Huddersfield away last year Rafa completely outthought Wagner tactically in such an important game, and Sunday was just brilliant. Aye Huddersfield were flying at the time iirc, so Rafa had a lot of work to do preparing for them. To then pull out a 3-1 away win was impressive.

Deserves better passing. He's better than most midfielders at playing those weighted balls forward. Hits his target very regularly. -
Aye it'd have to be something worth analysing. The Spurs game as great as it was, I felt just ran on emotions alone and an incredible atmosphere in the ground. That Huddersfield away game last season or the Man Utd game just gone would be the best bet imo.

Regarding Ryan Mason, I found it interesting to learn that Hull's club doctor (who would end up attending to Mason on the field) had just a few days prior been assigned by the FA an examination on head trauma and how to respond best to it. The universe has it's ways sometimes. Glad he's mending well, the sound of the impact when I was watching the game stuck in my head for days after.

Joined on a free last month iirc. Love him as a player like.

They need to get Rafa on one week like.

The thread title with the 'a' separate from the rest

Lovely keeper gloves them like, bless him for thinking he needed to scribble the Prague badge out though I'm sure nobody would have minded with him putting in a performance like that.

Absolutely love Juve's kit. They consistently have some of the best shirts in world football for me. On the game, I fancy Spurs to level this up, I don't know why.

Luv u really, KI. You're my favourite person to disagree with on here

I think Rafa will absolutely introduce Slimani as soon as he's ready regardless of the current form of others. -

Aye, whilst I've been in support of Shelvey & Ritchie when others haven't, I've been one of Gayle's biggest critics from the beginning of the season, but his little knock down to Ritchie was absolutely brilliant on reflection & I thought he generally worked very hard and made a real handful of himself against Utd. -

I hope so. He's had his fair share of critics this season and rightly so at times, but I think the majority of us really like his passion and work rate, and if he added some of those goals from last season back into his game he could be really useful to our survival hopes. -
As you have said yourself in the past, we post things on here to have discussions, you can't then moan when someone takes you up on a point made. You misread the article, it's okay - just let it go man
