  1. We're just going through one of those spells. All these issues we're seeing now weren't present a few weeks ago. The tides will turn again, just stick behind the players and the manager as best as you's can
  2. It was a great pass to him too. We'd be very pleased if we scored that. 'Marking' in the middle was absolutely pathetic. I'd be over the moon aye, sweeping move.
  3. Nice stuff from Kieran Gibbs there tbf. The lads will be getting a bit of a telling off right now I suspect. I reckon Mikel Antia will have the spud gun out unloading some rounds.
  4. x4 SHOULD GET A REAL MAN ON. REAL BIG BOY WITH BIG MUSCLES. real big boy
  5. You'll need that, because he wins nowt in the air for a big man. Compared to Gayle andMitrovic I meant. Mitrovic gets more joy from defenders like. He's also got a better touch. Gonna have to beg to diff on that one. It's a bit of a two bald men fighting over a comb situation though, admittedly. But one hasn't had the chance to take his hat off yet. Mitrovic. He's played for Newcastle 63 times. You need to give up this not given a chance thing, like. He should be getting a look in, no doubt, but he's had his chances in the past. Not this season he hasn't, which is all I'm really concerned with right now. Nout to give up on tbh, would like to see a player I like play some games, that's all

  7. Tidied Ah, would you say it was more Ritchie's responsibility that so much went down our right last game? I wasn't paying full attention tbh, you're probably right
  8. If he does I hope he's got thick skin or is good at picking and choosing which comments to take seriously and which discard as nonsense. Some crazy, irrational things get said online, especially on social media platforms, forums tend to be a bit better.
  9. Need a big game from Yedlin tonight. Phillips on the wing for them has ability to punish any defensive/positional lapses. I know DeAndre is capable though, come on!
  10. Howay Joselu son, spoon a few in for us. Clean strike off the bottom of the studs, bundling into the bottom corner. Spectacular scenes await.
  11. Good to see Rodriguez isn't starting for them, always think he looks dangerous and pretty sure he's scored a few against us in the past. Confident we can get a result here.
  12. Shelvey as an option off the bench could be big for us as well.
  13. Shit aye, I forgot their entire season hinged on an average at best loan player. So grateful to Sunderland for always being there to offer us the perspective needed to realise how worse things could be
  14. Not that I think it would happen but his reasons for dismissing Rafa would be completely different from any previous sacking tbh. He'd probably quite like Rafa to be gone if Ashley was sticking around. Their relationship is not, nor would it ever be, sustainable. The only reason Rafa is still here is because of the takeover talks. On both sides. Rafa staying because of what we could be, MA keeping him because he's a hugely valuable asset to any potential buyer. If MA changes his mind, Rafa will be down the road. Just a question of which one blinks first..... I see what you're saying, but the only reason that eventuality would be the case is out of pure spite. There's no benefit to his business position by letting go NUFC's biggest and most important asset. I'd personally say the club would be worth 10s of millions of pounds less and be far less attractive if the manager wasn't there. I know you can't put it past Ashley to act out of pure spite, but if I had to guess, I'd say the chances of him sacking Rafa this season are extremely slim.
  15. Don't you's remember how many years it took him to sack Pardew? A few weeks bad form is nothing compared to what he put up with off McClaren and Pardew.
  16. What am I reading here man The fact it's even a discussion on any level is stunning to me.
  17. Nah mate, sorry, but this isn't a must win game. Saying it is takes any meaning away from the expression. A must win game is when it's sink or swim towards the end of the season or a cup run. There's plenty of points still available and plenty of time to get them. I wouldn't worry just yet.
  18. I'd be very happy to see Perez back in the squad. I think Mitrovic is the best partner for him mind, Gayle/Perez doesn't really give you many options in terms of going more direct. Perez/Mitrovic strikes a better balance.
  19. Certainly not a 'must-win'. Ludicrous to call it that in November given we've already picked up a reasonable points tally. A win would be very welcome though, and it would be a good time to get 3 points all circumstances considered.
