  1. And that's why Bellingham is the greatest player in the world, subbed on in the 92nd minute to win it with his first touch.
  2. Having a tentative, fearful and overly cautious approach tends to have an adverse effect. I think the best way for the players to protect themselves is from a place of strength and confidence in the present. I know myself when I begin to overthink things I rarely make astute decisions and tend to encounter more pitfalls. A singular commitment to what is immediately before them will be their greatest ally and give them the best chance of arriving into the final in good shape.
  3. We're getting them in the final. Meister Howe has prophesied what the universe has organised and has been merciful unto them before slaying them in the final.
  4. I reckon Tonali is superior to all 3 of their midfielders, and I'd have Bruno over the Hungarian or Mac Allister.
  5. Tonali, Bruno, Isak & Hall would be guaranteed starters for them imo. Gordon over Gakpo/Diaz is debatable. I'd have Livramento or Trippier over Trent too as I like it when defenders defend. And of course The Murph over Salah but that goes without saying.
  6. It's not even that inexperienced, 8-9 of them play regularly for Liverpool in the Premier League.
  7. Meister Howe will school these pretenders at Wembley.
  8. Would make an okay understudy to The Murph.
  9. They’re a Championship side really, they’ve spent more than the majority of Championship teams on their squad. I imagine they will be in or around the play off positions next season.
  10. We were basically up against a flying top half championship team there away from home in a feral atmosphere with a fully rotated team. We stepped up and matched them and then managed the game tremendously, in large part to do with the introduction of Schar and in particularly Tonali.
  11. Tidy wouldn't be the word I'd use, he's chaotically, confusingly brilliant
  12. Weak refereeing, took the easy way out even though Osula literally did nowt and has in fact been mobbed by them all game. Would love him to score second half.
  13. I will be visiting Georgia late March/early April and Dinamo Tbilisi have a few games around that time, so I may try to find time for a little scouting mission watching this lad. Last time I was in Georgia watching football it was Anthony Gordon in the U21 championships, and things have gone rather well since then.
  14. Wonder if he comes back speaking like Yuri Zhirkov
  15. I imagine it will be his team mate Benjamin Sesko who will be high on the list for them with their playing style, physicality and pace.
  16. Arsenal should buy him, he even looks like Bacary Sagna.
  17. I wouldn't say dreadful but I'd agree that they were boring to watch from a pure entertainment point of view, but they still had something exceptional about them, the sheer dominance, the ludicrous points totals, the high level tactical approach etc.
  18. I stand by my comment from weeks ago that Liverpool would be the least exceptional premier league champions in the last decade or so. Chelsea, Man City and even Leicester had something exceptional about them as a team - this Liverpool side are bland and boring other than Salah.
  19. Shite game in a typically dead Anfield atmosphere like.
  20. This man. People seem much quicker to cast doubt over him when his performances dip even slightly, but name me another centre back who is pressing the opposition in the final third to create a goal. There’s only one Fabian Schar.
