  1. The CAT case would be the quicker of the 2 from what I understand not sure where you get years from.
  2. You are massively taking that out of context. He has always maintained that the quickest way to get it is through the CAT case. He did not say he expected the arbitration to go the Premier Leagues way. What was said is that from the recent extension from the judge is that the Premier Leagues lawyers are trying to push the arbitration date back again hence why he thinks the CAT is a better route as everything would be out in the open unlike arbitration.
  3. Agree it just says there is no financial liability e.g compensation. Doesn’t say they are confident of winning it at all.
  4. Funniest thing I just saw someone post on twitter was "This European Super League is like a lads night out before everyone asks their Mrs if its alright"
  5. Was told today Clark was dropped as Bruce found out he was slagging him off while on international duty and Fraser and Carroll refused to be on the bench.
  6. I heard that and he was Implying that proved they weren't legally separate. A government bailout doesn't prove they are of the same entity. The Spanish government bailed out Real Madrid when they were on the verge of going bust many years ago, and I believe its not the first time they have done so, but that doesn't mean the government and Real Madrid are the same entity! No they didn't. They did they bought the ground for millions and gave it back to them didn’t they?

    Jeff Hendrick

    Hendrick is shit though

    Jeff Hendrick

shelvey? Exactly Shelvey shit free kick they score straight after. Shelvey missed a sitter then 2 minutes later Hendrick gets sent off. If Shelvey wasn’t shit we would have been 4-1 up and Southampton’s heads would have dropped
  9. The f365 man said we ought to listen to Liam Kennedy because he suspected that Liam and he had the same source. We now know that Liam's source is Keith. In fact, Liam and Keith get on like a house on fire and they talk most days on the phone about non-football related stuff, as confirmed by Liam himself. So I'd say Mr f365's man is in that loop and that his source is probably also Keith. He might even be Keith. I don't believe Liam's source is Keith, like. He's even contradicted him a few times. But to update - there's been no update. When you say Keith do you mean Keith Downie? Keith Pattison or whatever his surname is, from NCSL. Ah ok ??

  11. I don't know how he'd know if Caulkin had spoken to anyone, but even if he is right, it just makes him sound a bit patronising and superior. This. He doesn’t look good from these tweets.
  12. To be fair that was also mentioned in the Chronicle not long after.
  13. ToonMouthTyne is Burnsie isn’t it?
  14. Isn’t this supposed to be the positive thread?
  15. I want to believe you, and I want you to be right, god knows I do, but it's very much like the boy that cried wolf. Because of the inane 3PM stuff etc, I don't give credence to anything you say. Sorry. That’s fine mate, I’d be the same but again, the s**** patter aside, I would never, ever, wind people up on here just for kicks intentionally. Not on matters like this. WE all want this, we all need this, as fans, as a region/city/forum etc. Even the most sceptical, the real wind up merchants, because at the end of the day this is our only club and we want the same thing, our club back, a club to be proud of we can enjoy and support win lose or draw with some fu king pride and love thrown in. I desperately want my boys to be part of what we have all been part of before Ashley, especially my youngest who i may lose to f***ing Arsenal and who has been scouted by our club 3 times in a year and truthfully right now, it’s the last place I’d want him to be at. Fingers crossed this happens soon and I think it will, and it genuinely appears those really involved are fighting for this to paraphrase KK and I’d love it, love it, we all would. Could this legal breakthrough be anything to do with a letter that Ashley’s legal team have got hold of that states by Dominic Rabb that the British Government see PIF and the Saudi state as separate entities and that in the meeting with the Premier League the Government said they were in favour of the Saudi takeover and investment in the North East and that they were concerned about outside intervention in the ODT process from other competitors i.e teams and broadcasters. And that Qatar actually contacted Dominic Rabb and were told politely to stay out of the process. Don’t know if it’s true but that is something I have heard.
  16. There is also a charge against Staveleys assets benefitting RB Sports and Media in exchange for 50% share ownership of JV1. JV1 is the company set up to purchase the 20% stake in NUFC. RB Sports is Reuben Brothers. Charge is still there.
  17. No, it's just an annual filing requirement. It is, however if the takeover was dead in the water then you would expect the company to close. So (and its still clutching a little) the fact that it's still being kept live suggests mileage that once the legal case(s) are through the parties will be back Thats just the confirmation statement that every company has to file every 12 months to state that none of the previously submitted info has changed. Means f*** all other than the company is still 'live'. Question is if the deal is dead in the water as some suggest then why does the company remain live? If the JV1 company was setup for the takeover and the takeover is now dead, then it may still be live for accounting purposes. Once the accounts are filed, the company may then close. Companies can also be made 'dormant' on companies house ie, the company still exists but isnt 'trading'. Of course the takeover could still be ongoing, hence the company is still live and 'trading'. And as i mentioned above, was it ever confirmed that JV1 was directly connected to the takeover? JV1 is owned by Cantervale holding limited which is in turn owned by Cantervale limited which is owned by Stavely. Even if it is and the takeover is dead, JV1 might be able to be used for other purposes by Stavely. But the filing of a confirmation statement in and of itself doesnt mean anything and isnt enough to speculate on the progress/status of the takeover. Are you just ignoring the charge made against Cantervile holdings by MASH for the £150 million loan and the fact it’s still outstanding. If it was dead it wouldn’t still be outstanding.

  19. Apparently he hires it out to a charter firm that’s why it’s always going back and forward to the Middle East.
