Our most dangerous player forced out of position again.

We've spent a wedge of what little money we have on someone so raw that he literally cannot be trusted to play meaningful minutes. And there hasn't been any sign in his play when he has been allowed on when games are secure that he is making the progress needed to become a success. I don't rate him, and clearly he isn't rated by the coaching team to be worthy of being on the pitch.

Terrible signing. We all figured it would be.

You would hope it is this.

His general play has been off the boil for weeks if not months.

I don't want to see him on the pitch in a Newcastle shirt again. The same that I wouldn't want to see Shearer or the corpse of Jackie Milburn on the pitch for us again. All three of them are finished.

I think people will just say something like... I guess. This isn't the end of the world. We are still in a great place to qualify for the Champions League. But there are long standing issues to address in the summer.

I think the second point has more precedence. We have to slog it with the same 11 every week and they have 15/16 first team level players to rotate around. They have difference makers on the bench. We have WIlson.

They came out with a plan to wind Bruno up and it was pulled off with ease. Bruno cannot handle being targeted.

He wouldn't have made a jot of difference. We are playing a side who have our number at their home pitch. And a side who have considerably more strength in depth compared to our Longstaff, Wilson, Krafth levels on the bench.

I don't think Howe being at the ground makes a jot of difference here.

We're being totally outclassed and so many obvious old issues are rearing their heads. The opposition have wound up Bruno and he's playing into it. Just not focused on the game and more getting one over whoever he is directly up against. Isak is just awful in possession and offers next to nothing in the middle third of the pitch. Playing drunk? The Schar and Burn partnership is far too slow to play against a team who counter attack with serious pace. Murphy has been put back in his box by a defender who has pressed him. Murphy can never hack players with physicality who get in his face. We've taken Barnes off the left wing again to give the space to Gordon, thus nulifying our best attacking outlet of the past few weeks.

They've got us tactically more than anything.

This has got to end. Barnes is class out there.
