I watched the 2nd half of the Burnley match last weekend. The pattern of play appeared to be either let the back four pass among themselves then one of the defenders or Dubravka would boot it up to Joelinton or just let Almiron run with the ball in order to make something happen. A real lack of off the ball movement as well with players just standing there waiting for the ball to come to them, never attempting to lose their marker and then the player with the ball would have to do something magical which often resulted in them losing the ball. It was awful football. That apparently required an extra days training for Bruce to drill that into them. He must be one of the laziest managers in the league if that's what he is working on at the training ground.

If Bruce starts going full Bruce then things could get interesting. I don't believe changing formation makes much of a difference, if the players are given bad instructions and don't know their roles in the team then no formation can really work for Bruce.

Apparently if the coronavirus causes Premier League matches to be called off then Liverpool might not be guaranteed to be crowned Premier League champions. Teams currently in the bottom three might escape relegation as well.

Personally would prefer it to be played in one country anyway even if coronavirus didn't exist.

But you can apply that same logic to those that say the Premier League closing the transfer window the earlier than European leagues makes them vulnerable to having their players bought. If one of the big 6 have a bad start to the season, they will panic and buy someone like Grealish or Zaha. Those clubs could say no, but players and their agents usually kick up a fuss to the point where they may down tools and be a disruption to a team that they pretty much have to sell at that point.

It doesn't make sense Inter have last weekends Serie A match postponed, but are allowed to play at home against Ludogorets tonight in the Europa League. Ludogorets arrived in Milan last night wearing masks and gloves so the coronavirus outbreak is obviously serious in that part of Italy.

Having the Euros held in multiple cities means its the worst possible format when there is a global pandemic on the horizon. I might have heard wrong, but I think the news here in Ireland said the virus could get significantly worse in the next 6 to 12 months so if that's the case its probably best to call the tournament off.
