Thats sounds like the beginning of a limerick.... There was a Zlad Ahmed Itani Who tickled a young ladies myfanwy He blasted away, his fingers a-blaze and now it resembles bolognaise.

Thinking about it, Batty has probably been one of the best defensive players the club has had. Not sure if he was the best midfielder though

Rob Lee? Speed?

Did i miss the 'announcement'? Or was it another attention seeking false alarm?

Ive filled that in as a non binary motorbike riding pensioner wanting the pre, half time and post match entertainment improved - sod the match itself. Im an alcoholic, fat bastard spending a fortune, who loves clean toilets and happy hours.

Thats a huge amount of dosh. But It does say 'up to' and does it include his staff and all their wages for the 5 yr period?

It could be but all its showed previously was the address and tel number for sports direct HQ - all available from google anyway.

This is probably nothing but... The 'who is' record for the nufc.co.uk domain has been changed to hide the domain owner. It previously showed sports direct as the owner but now its hidden. https://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?domain=nufc.co.uk

Thats kinda what i meant. we should have an excellent squad for the next WC and the one after. The only real issues are central defense and an overly cautious manager.

Players dont just get paid via salary though. Theres image rights, merchandising, sponsorships, all sorts. If you were to clamp down on all of that, theyd just ask for shares, percentage of tv rights or whatever, anything to keep the gravy train moving.

Wouldnt that have to be Europe wide? If it was just the PL, then we'd very quickly become a backwater.
-
I can see the appeal of having the big scots teams in the PL but im not sure its viable. I do like the idea of a cup competition though - maybe revise the milk cup.

So the solution to the rich clubs wanting to create a super league is to create a super league of rich clubs? Righto...
-
Depends if it was your passport or not.

Surely they can't turn it down based on the saudis or PIF or even MBS being the owners now. Any argument they make along those lines would just be laughed out of the room. So that leaves what? the piracy argument? the human rights argument? How many premier league kits/boots/merchandise are made in sweatshops by 8 yr olds? Human rights?? Dont make me laugh.
