The “ We’re not English, we are course” thing comes from the fact that Liverpool has a different ethnic make up than other English cities, with most having Scottish or Irish heritage rather than English. It also comes from the way Liverpool has been demonised and ostracised in the national psyche following both their fierce resistance to Thatcher and the Hillsbrough disaster. I honestly think the working class in this country failed as a collective in the way, we just allowed that to happen without showing any solidarity. How on earth did so many left wing working class socialists even, choose the Murdoch press over the city of Liverpool?

If there’s a centre back between Butn and Schar that I would be getting rid of its Schar, not that he hasn’t done well but I’d like someone with a bit more pace there which would allow us to push higher up the pitch.

See for how much he would cost I’m not all that keen on Abraham. Maybe as a wide right forward he could be decent paired with Maxi on the left and either a target man or false none who likes to come deep. But Roma would want what? 60 mil? I’d prefer an Ekitike type up and comer.

Not just the takeover tbf. It’s easy to say don’t watch his videos but the titles on his videos have been at times very clickbaity. For example just after the takeover had gone through he was released a video with the title suggesting Bruce had been sacked when he hadn’t been. I hold no real animosity towards him tbh, he’s a bit annoying but I’d honestly like to see him succeed. Whether people like him or not he is one of us.
