  1. Pretty sure he was an Everton fan.

I Think he has some good attributes wouldn’t be totally against Howe giving him another season.
  3. It’s true that we’ve spent a lot of money. But we have spent it well and Howe is getting the best out of the team and players at his disposal, including players we never thought would be up to it at this level
  4. Want us to be the ones that spoil the chances of winning the league for one of those two teams. I’d prefer to spoil Manchester City’s chances but it would still be funny if we did that to Liverpool.
  5. Why are people getting so riled up with our victory photo’s?
  6. Okay don’t want to get ahead of myself because it’s still early doors but there are a lot of tell-tale signs that he is a top class manager. He seems intelligent open to new ideas, and grafts his balls off. He’s shown great man management and been able to bring everyone Along with him. He’s humble and level headed yet can create enthusiasm within the group of players which likely extends to everyone working behind the scenes at the club and certainly on to the fans. But also he just really seems to know football which is crucial for a manager these days at the top level. The fact we’re getting results despite not playing quite the way he wants us to suggests there is more to come and he still has ideas on how to improve us further even without bringing in extra staff. The way he has improved players that were previously written off Krafth, Shelvey, Almiron, Fraser. The way our signings have adapted to the group and his methods. Who knew the likes of Dan Burn and Matt Targett, two bang average in premier league players, we’re actually decent footballers. We”ll have to judge him iver a full season to get a full handle on how good he is but the early signs are positive.

From the I article I. The transfer rumours thread Liverpool are the latest club to show an interest in revolutionary sight training technology that developers hope will take the world of professional football by storm. i detailed how the “Okkulo” is helping to train goalkeepers and improve technique by effectively “training in the dark” and it has been shown to improve ‘keepers when they’ve worked with clubs at League One and League Two level. Liverpool goalkeeper coach Claudio Taffarel paid a visit to the Okkulo facility at Sunderland’s training ground last week, along with Wolves’ Tony Roberts, to see it in action. The system works on the idea that training in low light levels slows down visual processing. To compensate, the brain subconsciously filters out unnecessary movement, helping goalkeepers’ reflexes to speed up, while outfield players report crisper, sharper touches. The Black Cats are the first to have an “on site” facility, which has been used by players returning from injury as well as the club’s goalkeepers. And it is the potential to improve the reaction times of goalkeepers which has piqued the interest of the Reds. Liverpool are renowned for their embracing of new technology, with incoming Sporting Director Julian Ward regarded by football insiders as someone ready to innovate on new sports science developments. How the fuck are these lot the first to have facilities like this?
  8. Great effort from these lads and exactly the way we should be treating players that are struggling.
  9. Had no idea he was this good. Assumed he was your average premier league clogger, but especially from a defensive point of view he’s been excellent. Hopefully we sign him and this is a sign of things to come rather than a purple patch.
  10. Football is going to eat itself.
  11. If we could get Tomori here, that would be some signing. Would love Kamara and Eriksen on a free transfer too. Really don’t want Nunez.
  12. Wish him all the best. He seems a great lad
  13. because I assumed he was a decent source
  14. Colback a candidate for the Puskas award there
  15. That’s really sad. I’ll assume this is something that has been going on in the background for a while? If so you can kind of understand some of his behaviour of late.
  16. I’d be happy for him to go back for half a season if they get promoted
