  1. I know what you’re saying but Stuntpegg is sound as fuck, so I’ll accept her as an exception
  2. I actually think that’s him. Apparently players accounts are not managed by the players them selves generally or their teams but usually by a clubs social media team. Seeing as we don’t have one yet I think that’s him.
  3. Even if it’s here in a couple years, who gives a fuck.
  4. Hope no one looks in to the Joelinton deal.
  5. Well fair enough that was a bad experience, personally I found Londoners despite the stereotype to be quite friendly. There are plenty litttle scrotes up here who like to mc too.
  6. There are far more shops in London. Particularly high end shops. I’ve been to London once, was great just browsing around all the designer shops even with the knowledge I couldn’t afford any it. I remember going in to the official Burberry shop, before I entered there was a tall handsome bloke in a tux whose job it was to stand outside the door and open it for customers. Once I started looking at the clothes I noticed none of them had price tags, I guess if you have to ask, you can’t afford it anyway. All the other shops were the same, Gucci, Armani etc. You don’t see that in Newcastle, not to mention London’s incredible architecture, and don’t even mention the cafe’s, boutiques and restaurants. The weather is warmer in London too. Even if only just a few degrees. You can network there with other famous or influential individuals. London also has a number of airports which is beneficial for foreign players looking to get flights to countries that are more obscure. there are downsides to London aswell mind. Crime being one, and prices being another, and traffic.
  7. No one is “forcing” interest in women’s football on anyone. There is simply a thread for anyone who is interested.
  8. From the article: “And not just in the sprawling shopping malls like the Metro Centre in Newcastle or The Bridges in Sunderland”. It’s a massive stretch to refer to the bridges as sprawling and the metro is shite these days. As insulting as it is to say, I think there’s some truth in what Agbonlahor is saying. Players do want to be in London. London clubs use it as an attraction and often try to paint the north as a post industrial hell hole that rains all the time. Think one of the Manchester clubs got wind of the fact one of the London clubs were claiming that it rains all the time in Manchester in their presentation to a player, and had to tell the player that actually it rains more in London. With that being said there’s a lot of buzz around us at the moment. We’re the richest club in the world, we’re ambitious and can offer players a lot of money to compensate for that.
  9. Gan on Caragher. This “ I won x and you didn’t” or I’m a better player so you can’t say anything about me”, nonsense is exactly that, nonsense. Quite incredible for Roy Keane of all people to be lowering expectations about whether or not Manchester United should be winning the league, and then criticising Carrick for getting the job on a interim basis because of “ jobs for the boys”. When he has seemingly been quite hesitant to criticise his mate Ole.
  10. Edwards for Vitoria looks pretty talented
  11. Wow. Looking like Pep’s Barca here
  12. one of those that like to play against us.
