  1. Literally nothing between the 2 imo.
  2. Nah, don't get this at all. He's very much the perfect wide forward on current form and I see no reason whatsoever why this form wouldn't continue. I've been wanting a RW since last January but I honestly cannot think of too many players who I'd replace Almiron with on current form.
  3. Think this transfer excites me more than any other player we've been linked with, Mudryk and Diaby included.
  4. Stupidly excited about this lad btw, lots of comparisons to Redondo plus i love a left footed CM. https://footballtalentscout.net/2022/07/08/maximo-perrone/
  5. Surpassing Demba Ba for me as the best striker we've had since Shearer. Just seems to be one of those strikers who can score in any team but is also a massive presence even when he's not scoring.
  6. Personally think he's been the best signing we've made so far, and not because of what it meant symbolically, he's genuinly a brilliant playmaker.
  7. Miggy could score 15 this season. Another midfielder like Bruno and I'd go higher.
  8. Cannot believe no one saw the plainly obvious potential of this club until 2 years ago.

League positioning aside, I'm stupidly excited to see what we do in the cups.
  10. Not his best game but he was being man marked the whole time so it was clearly their game plan which worked to an extent. Goes to show how important it is that we get another midfielder with quality on the ball who can take that burden off Bruno.

    Dan Burn

Wasn't his best game today but his versatility is absolutely critical to the way we play, as has already been mentioned.
  12. Quality of set penises today were off the chart. Don't think I've ever seen us looking so innovative.
  13. 3 down, 7 to go. Don't think enough is being said about the fact he's doing so well in a brand new position as well. Must be a midfielders dream to play with like, always looking to run in behind.
  14. We need more quality going forward but Howe also needs to recognise that himself and adjust accordingly.
  15. This is as much a tactical issue as it is a personnel one in my opinion. I'm not even slightly concerned about the results we're getting, in fact if anything, I'm actually really pleased we're so hard to beat, but I would say I'd like to see more of a plan b or a slightly different approach to the game to negate the fact we don't really have the players that are best suited to this style of play.
  16. Not sure what the point of having a pacy attack is if we're only giving them 5 yards off the pitch to run into. Nothing wrong with how we're playing, per se, we just we need to tweak our tactics a little bit and recognise that we need to make the best of the qualities that make us so dangerous on the break, ie with space to run into.
  17. I know it can be interpreted as harsh but my view will always be if it hits your hands it's a pelanty. Intent shouldn't take precedent over the fact the handball has impacted the passage of play.
  18. Pitching our tent on the edge of the opposition's box isn't that affective when the quality of our creative play is so poor.
  19. After stripping away all my views on politics and the monarchy, I have to say, I'm very much struggling to muster much respect for a lady who paid off her nonce sons legal fees (with other people's money) and even less so of the gentleman who's disregarded public opinion on the matter and popped Prince nonce straight back into the limelight. But anyway, I digress. Sensible decision by Wor Flags.
  20. Yeh seems crazy that the rules literally dictate that a forward should be behind the defender when the ball is being played - basically translates as 'the defender must have a headstart'
  21. Think offsides should only be measured from position of the feet as well. If an attacker reacts to a pass quicker than a defender and that reaction starts from the same starting point as the defender then why should he be penalised because his head and part of his arm in infront?
  22. Dunno like, Fergie basically invented the ploy and it worked a treat. Might be my own search history bias but I search for "VAR'' in Google News, I'm getting far more on Moyes and Marsch, than I am Eddie Howe and Newcastle United, even though only 1 of those teams have been habitually screwed by VAR. What about you?
