  1. No thanks, I'd rather not bother getting anyone in than a prat like him.
  2. So close between Tripps and Bruno, they're both amazing but Tripps gets my vote, I think we notice him not playing just that little bit more. That said, like others have said already, every member of our team brings something different and worthwhile to the table and we're lucky to have all of them. ... and then of course, there's Miggy Great times.
  3. The great thing is, like when Leicester won the league, nobody, including us fans, are expecting anything this season. I'm not suggesting a league title, just a comparison that the team can play each game at a time without pressure and anything that comes of it at the end of the season is a bonus. In the meantime us fans can enjoy the ride, it's mental and a great time to be one of our supporters, baffling and exciting - we've all known what this club can get to with the right running, if this is the start then holy shit we're in for some fun!
  4. Why, why do I keep reading stories about Chelsea contacting representatives of Bruno to sign him in January from us?
  5. Klipperty shows himself as an utter balloon in every presser recently, it's great!
  6. I wonder if it grates on them a little that they weren't able to win consecutive league title or that the only league title they've won in recent times was a shortened season so enough of an excuse for people to pick fault with it (I mean, to be fair they were brilliant that season but there were 'technically' mitigating circumstances that could have impacted the outcome to some degree)
  7. In a world of thin-skinned weaklings, I'm just not surprised anymore with pathetic tweets like this.
  8. Chimp mitts unhappy with Gabby Logan: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2022/10/02/richard-keys-threatens-sue-gabby-logan-sexism-claims-sky-sports/
  9. Just a shame about the plasticy numbers, the rest looks smart though.
  10. Always the same with England, a manager comes in who is out of touch with reality, using players out of position and playing players on reputation rather than form. Southgate is atrocious, trying to overcomplicate things or play 'safe', fortune favours the brave.
  11. Oh lessons learnt eh? So fuck?! That doesn't grant us the two points we've lost in that game alone does it? And sure as shit doesn't cover the other three match deciding VAR bollocks dropped against us recently either. Typical bullshit from them, they'll say the right thing but do fuck all about it it - corrupt cunts.
  12. When the poor officiating is as bad as it has been, especially this last week and the amount of money riding on the game's results, something's got to give. We're at a stage now where it's pretty much every game yet there's zero accountability, it's either blatant corruption or total incompetence, either way something needs to be done to correct it. When match reports become about the officials and their terrible use of technology which should make things easier (and seemingly do for everyone other than the officials using it), instead of the actual game being played, you have to ask what is the point of football in the English Premier League?
  13. So what we're saying is either the 'officials' are being corrupt and deliberately making the wrong calls for some nefarious end, or they are in a small minority who seem to regularly get these decisions wrong when most others clearly see what the correct call should be? The technology of VAR works fine, it's the decisions being made that are wrong... and it's that which makes it even more infuriating, to be honest I think the refs should be wearing a mic, the same as rugby refs, so everyone can hear what they're discussing while looking at VAR as well.
  14. Another game robbed of points, dodgy officiating yet again - I'd like to lean on blaming us missing two/three key players but we've managed to scrape results with less, just think we're being targeted.
  15. Lmao, no way are we going to be anywhere near relegation!!!
  16. Unfortunately it's getting to the point as a team where we're going to have to get good enough to score multiple times per match, just so the officials can't stitch us up over every single decision without there being serious questions (not that anyone seems to be able to question them with any authority anyway). It's literally looking like that level of corruption now where we're getting these clearly wrong decisions against us in every match. It sounds ridiculous and paranoid but it's just blatant, it really feels like the officials have been given an agenda against us from the powers that be, I can only assume because of our takeover. I mean, I'd say it's just dogshit officiating in the league full stop but we seem to get it more than most, plus I've not seen it this bad in other major league from watching some of their games.
