Sports channels for this one? Not the Newcastle website -
Find some solace in something man, you're gonna drive yourself mental.

£34m is a lot like, but I have absolutely no reason not to trust Eddie
-
Watched a few highlights of him and I like the look of him like. His passing into midfield is very similar to Botman's, proper crisp.
-
Never mentions that in other situations does he?

Don't think I've ever held on to so much loathing of a player and a football club as I do right now and not know where to put it. I wouldn't mind if I saw us standing tall in the face of it all, but I feel like we've done nothing but capitulate and pander to it. One thing's for sure, if the chips on our shoulders could be directly converted into positive energy we'd win everything this season.

In a move to signal that he wants Isak to leave, Eddie Howe has said that the club isn't in a position to make him stay. That's one hypothetical I suppose. Wouldn't be confident that it's the only reason though.
-
areet. Too much to unpack that's wrong about what I was saying tbh, but cba at this point.
-
What's confident about suggesting one possible scenario for why in reality Howe has just said we're not in a position to just tell Isak he can't leave? It's one of many potential reasons, but you're going on like you have the answer, it's weird.
-
Well I care, and it would seem big clubs care as they tend to avoid it as much as possible. Isak being 'the difference' in a title race next season is just strawman nonsense, it's about strengthening a rival for the next 5 or so years when our aim is to beat them, it's not controversial or anything.
-
I really don't get why you're speaking extremely confidently despite knowing as much as we do about what has and hasn't happened - nothing.
-
No, the reason we shouldn't accept is because they are a domestic rival, as I just said. Whether they're not a rival next season or whether it would improve us more than it would Liverpool doesn't override us having the option to avoid selling to a domestic rival and instead sell abroad in 12 months, or even if it's just to ensure we're prepared as a club if in 12 months time a domestic team are still the only option. Right now we're ill prepared for it from executive level, all the way through recruitment and into DoF level and the squad itself.
