  1. Not when it's now been revealed that he's used the same injury as a cover for downing tools
  2. Rumours Man City are in for Vini Jr
  3. Did Antonio have 3 years left on his contract? Pretty sure his contract was honoured.

Saw that earlier and thought it told its own story that half of them are good.
  5. All seems to be ramping towards another bid this week I think. Bet it's like £120m-ish.
  6. First time I've seen him even hint that we, despite holding all the cards, have any cards st all.
  7. If they're ultimately unsuccessful in getting him they've still succeeded in unsettling one of our best players, making him nigh on unusable and poison for the foreseeable, wrecking our transfer window, our plans and our squad harmony, all without ever having to face any consequences and having their media shills act like they're mother fucking Hubbard. Absolute scum.
  8. Over £30m release clause!? Worth it? Would be a lot of money for a punt like.
  9. Tbf half their match going fans following them means they must be pretty well respected.
  10. It seems that we've changed our transfer approach and I'm very pleased to see it.
  11. Liverpool set the groundwork for that 'given encouragement by Newcastle' bollocks last time so it seems clear that they're going to bid again this week and then be all "whaaaaaat? We said we wouldn't do it without encouragemeeeent!"
  12. I've seen less spin coming out of Israel than with these born yesterday bellends
  13. "Understand Newcastle had indicated a willingness to engage on Isak, so Liverpool made their bid. It was made with optimism, which is why the strong and quick rejection was a surprise." Choke on the butter that wouldn't melt in your mouths, you ridiculous cunts.
  14. Who would be the 'howeh we're not getting him but he'd be perfect' attacking midfield target? Unless we've changed our approach now (which Thiaw possibly suggests) it might be someone like that.
  15. Would imagine it'll be someone in that upgrade on Longstaff mould that McTominay would have been. Someone who's solid defensively and can pop up in the box and get a goal.
  16. Could be Lookman. Atalanta will only sell abroad and he's good value IIRC
  17. Just watched his highlights and he fits the exact profile of an Eddie Howe type of player alright. Has the physique, gait and ball control of Ekitike basically. Looks good but highlights will probably be deceiving, apparently we were linked early July and a lot of people who watch Serie A are saying we can do better.
  18. I was told last week they're interested in Amir Richardson. Tbh I didn't know who he was, didn't look him up, and assumed by him having the most English and Championship name ever that he was a Championship player like Jack Rudoni. Had no idea he's a Moroccan that's playing for Fiorentina. So maybe it's him.
  19. Right there for a start. There was a huge split on here, there's no way that it was most people. Looking back for posts in 2010...there'll be very few if any.
  20. You'll be lucky to find anything positive from anyone still here in 2010, considering he came in in December 2010 under a cloud and his redemption arc with some posters was August 2011 to May 2012 and at the latest January 2013
  21. Why did I read all that and why am I not surprised by who's strawmanning out the wazoo yet again. Hindsight can happen quickly. Whether we liked Pardew in the 5th season or not, by the time we'd lost 2-1 at home to Reading the following season, literally everyone but two posters (one of which left - hopefully out of shame) hated him and we had another almost 2 years of his lies and shit football after that. That's the Pardew cycle, he goes to a football club, does his Lyle Lanley PR bit, fans get taken in, there's a honeymoon period, then he destroys your love for football and you resent him for the rest of your life.

Foreign signings are always a risk but IIRC we were pretty unequivocal on here that Isak was going to be absolute quality. Injuries aside, some players you only need to watch them and to know the environment they're coming into to just know. With him and Bruno (and Botman, hence the injuries point) it was crystal clear and it was obvious even at the time that the boohooers elsewhere didn't have a clue.
