Tbf we did ask for a transformative transfer window.
-
No need for a Jackson thread at all tbqh
-
That KFC nonce has hung his hat on saying Jackson has told his agent he wants to come here
-
Because there was £5m difference and Man United still met what Leipzig agreed with Sesko they'd sell him for.
-
Only want deal done tweets now like. These consideration leaks are doing no one any good.

It's incredibly difficult to find an alternative term for something so specific and so correct. I tried out 'Reek from Game of Thrones' but it didn't land.

Our reported interest really is a smoke signal like, it's mad.

Was talking about this today and my mate summed it up: "I couldn't give a fuck that we look weak to other people, but I give a massive fuck that we are being weak"
-
And yet Liverpool "insist" on Isak. Utter prick
-
They were just two examples to show how far down the line and seemingly irretrievable things can get with players before being turned around. It's not even necessarily about staying. I don't want Isak here, but I'm sickened by us selling him to a supposed domestic rival. The likes of Coutinho, Suarez, Kane, Modric still got their moves away from Liverpool and Spurs, but crucially it was on the club's terms and in Suarez, Kane, and Modric's case, their moves to Arsenal, Man City, and Chelsea were blocked and they went abroad instead. Further down the rung it still happens too if clubs decide that they're not selling. Just off the top of my head Morgan Gibbs White, Zaha.

I'd much rather the makeshift recruitment team went for stopgap quick wins in midfield and defence now tbh. I don't want them being let loose with £100m+ and failing in an even higher bracket. Lift the floor and leave the roof raising for when we have a DoF basically.

Main thing I'm banking on at the moment is the gargantuan chip on our shoulders creating a siege mentality
-
I feel nothing. I think that's very unlikely tbh, but the bright side if that happens is that I think I'd disengage. Had a whole afternoon with the phone at home yesterday and it was great.

Think it gives us a decent chance of a loan definitely
-
Could definitely see a loan on the cards based on all of the things that are standing in the way of a permanent deal. Fee Wages Contract length Him not wanting to leave Chelsea Him not being a sure thing Keeping our powder dry for having a DoF in place

I don't have any presumption. I think it's natural for it to raise questions, but I definitely wouldn't be jumping to the conclusion that he's the specific one who needs to go based on pure guesswork and conjecture. For all either of us know he could be Brooklyn Beckham or Robert Stephenson as far as nepo-baby ability goes, and ability is key. For all we know he's a non-negotiable for Howe too. Personally I think the idea that Howe would indulge in that runs against the grain of everything we know about how he works and what he expects from others.
