    Now look at Van Dijk
  2. I've been a huge Willock apologist for a long time but Ramsey is better than Willock like, particularly at the bottom line of goals and assists.
  3. Howe always finds a way to challenge my trust in him. He's won everything so far. This is a lot of money for an inconsistent slightly injury prone player and I don't rate Ramsdale, but I'm a Howe cultist so go for it Edward, I trust you.
  4. Parish accepting £35m from Liverpool is so on brand man, what a complete ghoul.
  5. Gino Ginelli is a better source than Rudy Galetti
  6. They've all tried to gaslight everyone about what they were all saying a matter of weeks ago like, it's insane. Craig Hope saying he knew a year ago as well, utter bollocks. For a start he was also saying no one could afford him, but mainly the idea that he would ever held back on sharing anything he's heard about inside the club is laughable.

It's very rare that you'll encounter a Liverpool fan from Liverpool in the places you're looking. Plastics galore and plastics are a stain on football, regardless of the club.
  8. Personally think Liverpool going in for Ekitike was the canon event for his behaviour. Until then my guess is that he was going to go amicably if we got a replacement and our asking price and until then he was happy to tow the line. Liverpool get Ekitike and he and his agent basically pressed the nuke button because not only did it stop us getting a replacement but it potentially gave Liverpool their alternative.
  9. Very telling that neither of them questioned whether Isak is bluffing. The concerning thing for me is if Romano has sources inside Newcastle and that's why he thinks it would happen. But frankly why anyone in the club would be speaking to him is beyond me, at the moment it has the feeling of him being fed stuff about what we've said coming to him via his agent or Liverpool.
  10. If you just look at his stats you'd think he's a defensive player playing attacking midfield and is pretty invisible. Strange combination of supposed strengths like.
  11. But we should accept £110m for the Premier League striker widely regarded as one of the best in the world, who's 25 and has 3 years left on his contract.

A few weeks ago Jacobs was coming out with sycophantic nonsense about how he needs to be respectful of talking about Liverpool because they're 'a club that's greiving' then spent every day since then talking about them non-stop. He's a proper weirdo.
  13. It's also a lot of change all at once
  14. I think you're right but I think we're at the point now where anything less than £150m will be seen as direct vindication of what Isak's done. If I'm in charge Isak, his agent and Liverpool have ensured that £150m + is now the actual number.
  15. Don't even think it'll be £130m tbh, they've all downed the kool aid on their entitlement

Depends on whether you think our 'better' targets are a continuation of our recruitment policy or a divergence from it. Everyone agrees that our ability to improve players means 'worse' still means better. Leaving it this late before the start of the season basically means we've let perfect be the enemy of better imo.
  17. Seems really ill-suited, he's terrible with his feet.

If you don't mean 'worse' and no one else means worse...why keep saying worse?

Tbh I think Isak has enhanced our reputation. He's taken the heat off the club by acting like a complete arsehole and indisputably wrecking a transfer window that without his antics would have had more fingers pointed at the club. This idea that the club is infallible though is ridiculous tbh, without the Isak debacle not having a Wilson replacement in is really poor.
  20. Him, Trippier, Burn, and Livramento were all easy 10/10 performances.

Said it before like, but 'worse' is an assumption.
  22. What's that line in Bridge on the River Kwai? "I hate the English! You have too much pride and no shame!" or something like that. Scouse not English though, ironically.
  23. Absolutely no surprise that that prick Van Dijk is seen as involved in this (the supposed comment at Wembley, that look to the camera when Slot shook Guehi's hand. He knows Liverpool's M.O better than anyone.
