  1. Trippier's also a back up LB if ever needed, don't think Livramento is though
  2. Definitely, just doesn't seem to really add up in terms of ages.
  3. On paper it doesn't make much sense to have a 20 year old back up with a 21 year old out on loan like. Kyle Walker-Peters would make much more sense.
  4. I think he's probably up there as one of the most underrated players of all time tbh. Whether it's Premier League, English, or just players in general, he was incredibly naturally gifted but also incredibly clever. He never got the plaudits he deserved even before he came out as a daft racist.
  5. Kid Icarus

    In memoriam

Brown and Smith within a couple of years of each other is a right shame like.
  6. Percy's very reliable with Midlands stuff, I wonder if he is in general
  7. Love that it's definitely a DHGate special
  8. Yeah that's not accurate like
  9. *Longbenton Agree though.
  10. It's truly a forum of Kenny Seniors like, they're incredible
  11. ? They're just suggesting sensible transfers
  12. Has no one come up with any concept designs since the East Stand news?
  13. There's no way that's right, Robert got 16 in all competitions with us that season so couldn't have got 21 just in the league
  14. His percentage of quality balls from set pieces seems very high.
  15. It looks the part like. I know Spurs's stadium was designed with it in mind as well, but haven't heard anyone mention that it's loud.
  16. I thought about it but it just seems so unlikely tbh.
  17. Nah I meant like Total Sport and the Sports section of the Chronicle. Obviously if we were to relocate then the general public's opinion has to come into it like.
  18. Those polls would be open to those locked out (just as I am btw) Second part wasn't brought up, I'm not sure what you mean. All of those polls would be for Newcastle fans.
  19. I wonder if a stadium has ever been built with acoustic engineers consulted and their input given more value than aesthetics. Most modern stadiums remind me of concept cars, where they look great but are actually a pile of shit on the road.
  20. The point was really only that that 3/10 people within the fanbase being against it is more than a peep. The poll on here has gone just about as I expected. Would be interesting to see what a combination of NUST members, season ticket holders, Chronicle readers, BBC Radio Newcastle listeners and Toon Polls votes would look like. My money would be on option 2 winning by a landslide.
  21. A Chronicle poll of Newcastle supporters at the time. I can't find the original, but they themselves and The Athletic reference it. Obviously remember that it didn't go ahead because 36,000 people signed a petition opposing it for their own non-football reasons as well. Just one example. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/imagine-70000-capacity-newcastle-united-12772276 I think the circumstances were different. We didn't know the potential opposition there would be and the years of hoop jumping that would be needed to relocate to Leazes Park then, but we do now.
