We look exactly like a team that's low on confidence and playing its 18th game out of 26 in a 12 week period.
-
Not sure what Murphy's supposed to do there. We're a self-fulfilling prophecy now like, it's like the worst thing we can possibly do in a match is score.
-
Hit form feels like a stretch I think. I'd say it looks more like potentially the green shoots of something. Don't mind him being tasked with making an impact until he can be relied upon.

The players struggling to get up to speed now are predominantly the new ones. In future seasons they won't be and I doubt we'll have summers where we bring in that many new players all at once, Howe's said himself he doesn't like it.
-
If it's David Edgar and he's asked who's negative.

I highly recommend looking at previous examples of how teams having these transition seasons/seasons in the Champions League fare despite having managers everyone would agree are very good.
-
You joined in November mate. The long timers on here know there are some relentlessly negative posters and who they are when they see them. Some are still here, some have left. Don't think it matters all that much anyway, but digging them out now wouldn't be good for anyone.
-
Yeah, it happens all the time.

Everyone wants the best for Newcastle man. The problem comes when there's a lack of slack given to players and a manager who've delivered success and seemingly absolutely zero awareness of how other supposedly better alternatives have performed in the same circumstances. Despite that there's still an insistence that these alternatives are better and that what we have isn't good enough.
-
Another aspect is more of a theory like, but with some people (not necessarily on here) I get the impression that they were better off and easier to satiate under Ashley because the stated ambition was met nigh on every season.
-
He hasn't been here long enough to turn out to be anything imo. His strike rate, assists (and injury record) at Brentford were very good. I find it mad that you could watch his Brentford highlights and think that this post injury Wissa is the truth of the two, despite all but a few months of evidence being that he's actually really good

I have plenty to say about people being negative, but ultimately that's their own decision, what I can't stand is the 'dementor' aspect where some want to suck the life out of others so they have some company. Reminds me of a mate who used to do it at parties. Everyone would be having a nice time, but if he was having a bad time he'd make sure he dragged someone down with him.
-
Haha, yeah, good one

Wissa has been a 1 in 3 to 1 in 2 striker over 3 seasons, he isn't suddenly definitely shit forever.

Nothing about my comment or the one you were laughing at was about you, or your enjoyment of the match funnily enough. -

It's more the laughing at someone else for taking a bit of pride and happiness out of it tbh. -

Have to say I've been really impressed with our fans since Howe made that comment about how we need to give our players love.
