Looking sharp, Cal. Tough on (good for) the lower back, boxing stylee rope work.

Oof! Harsh and kind of self-injurious. Can’t only be me who counts, and throughly enjoyed, the ‘Championship’ trophies? @Rod’s been around for four of them.

You know the worst thing about that shouldn’t be the accent. Really shouldn’t. Oh! It is.

Brace for flash.

Tried to find the Sunderland one for you but just found this:

Certainly possible. Given they won’t be playing against the best in Europe in order to qualify. And let’s face it, ‘the best in Europe’ varies widely and wildly.

Do you rate Conor Gallagher??

Like a Brazilian Gordon?

If we are buying a top quality RW/RF player, just can’t see us forking out more than £50m. Appreciate this loud internal ‘nah’ is based on fuck all real knowledge of the accounts, but there you go.

What a defensive foundation if they all continue to develop as they are expected to.

Interesting read. I thought this guy could play wide right as well but comes across as more of a poacher/traditional centre forward in the analysis.

I think if we’d signed him instead of Tonali, there was talk and many with a similar view to you, then we’d have had a very different season last year and would be looking forward to European football again. Look at how his stock has improved in last year or two.

Well that’s the real CJ, so it would possibly be a waste of dosh. Might still have as good a right foot as our fave Paraguayan!

Well would be nice and need to add Murphy to subs bench for formation change.

Pope Guehi Schar Burn Tino Bruno Hall Tonali Joelinton Gordon Isak Subs: Wilson/Osula Barnes Willock Longstaff Murphy Kelly Targett Krafth Miley Greek Goalie (!)

We tried out three centre backs preseason would be a nice flexible option to have.

Good info! Bad info, it was never on.

True enough. I’ve seen least of Pivas, but done a bit of Wise-scouting the others and it’s obvious why we wanted them. He’s probably furthest away from first team, but so was most excited about Finneran. Love that kind of midfielder to my mind a McCreery/Aitken/Bracewell/Keane alikee; hopefully with a ceiling closer to the latter, but being as good as any of the others would do very nicely as well.

Me too, I actually had the thought (given his directness, running with the ball) that he is like a less elegant Ferdinand. Maybe (to give him a very high challenging goal…) he could be a Sir Les Asprilla! Now there’s a warming thought (he would have to some header of the ball for that moniker to stick though!).

Joins, most ready of an impressive list of young additions this calendar year which includes: Alfie Harrison 18, attacking midfielder; Miodrag Pivas 19, central defender/central midfielder; Rory Finneran 16, Defensive/Central midfielder; William Olusa, 20 Striker. Regardless of the war chest for clear first team starters, we’re evidently not so strapped for cash that we can’t invest in the future.

Signing Osula is as good as a guarantee that Wilson is staying.
