Your guess is as good as mine, but not everyone is equally comfortable with uncertainty and it is easy to get stressed (perhaps unduly) given relative radio silence; and obvious impact of injuries last season. Can’t help liking @Froggy’s posts, personally. Funny and intelligent, ardent defence of the, sometimes indefensible, football soap opera in the Metropolitan borough of Trafford. And obviously holds a candle for his secret second footy love of this other United.

Logical but probably guess work. They’re not going to delay/compromise getting what we need, so maybe ‘reset’ is an overstatement. No doubt he’ll want to get started and prove his worth, but getting his fingerprints on targets will probably be more apparent in future windows. Doubt we’ll start with a blank page again given the work which will have been put in and the limited time available.
