So it is! Here’s hoping for 14th place tonight: we win, Leeds lose at home to Spurs (12:30) and Everton lose at home to Man City (5.30) ?

I know they are all ‘big’ games in our position, but this feels like a big game for our safety this season. To go one point above them, with a game in hand, gives us the beginnings of a decent buffer from the drop zone.

I got a Kevin Keegan t-shirt (Just 80’s perm head and word LEGEND) for a Valentine’s Day present. Even though in (Liverpool) red, never had a more appropriate pressie.

From what I have seen of his play (online) and analysis of his style, in terms of NUFC comparisons, he seems like a cross between GiGi and Nobby. I think through no fault of his own, Joelinton may give way (or be moved to replace Willock—who I think is contributing less at the moment).

Genuine question, how many keepers in the world are clearly an improvement? I’ve always found it difficult to rate keepers, unless they are regularly making errors.

Pretty sure he’ll start next match, presuming he’s showing what they hoped for in training.

Will miss watching his pure mastery of the full back role. Real class act. Think we’re still improved defensively with Targett and Burn so don’t think his absence is critical.

We’d all like Tripps back in there, and as captain, he’s anothe level. Have to say I thought Krafth did well today. Another winnable game?

Really pleased with, and for, Joelinton after recent performances. Found the right position for him. Wonder if Wood can play midfield? ? (just kidding… he’d get a Woody-wood header goal soon no doubt).
