Don't think anyone's excited over Jeff Hendrick and are fully aware he's nothing more than bang average. Canny performance from him though on Saturday and better than both Longstaffs iMvHo

Played one game for Newcastle yes. Hasnt shown anywhere near being clumsy enough as Boumsong during his time in the PL.

Your avatar needs a fishing rod rather than an ax That post wasnt a windup at all.

Hendrick is better than both Longstaffs.

Scrappy home win and one injury. -
It was a completely surreal experience to watch the game, and then read the match thread afterwards - the criticism Hendrick got "live", when viewed after watching the whole match, was bizarre. To be fair he was terrible first half, couldn't control the ball He wasnt terrible at all.

Bloody enjoyable win that was.

So why did Stoke get relegated when they sold him m8?

Exactly step forward your friends at NUST who seem to have given up and gone on holiday. I’m completely out of order on that, apparently. Which one of you two was Godzilla on here? That’ll be Cheesy beans, however more to the point do you now accept the takeover wasn’t dead ? Your credibility along with a few other on here is now zero. Maybe you should delete your account and come back as Frank Pingel, oh hold on that’s already taken, maybe Rob McDonald he was pretty useless aswell. What are you on about? I said the takeover wouldn’t happen. I’m right. Why would you ask someone to delete their account? Bit weird that. You are (sort of) "right so far", but we all need to wait for the final outcome and (as Ashley's recent statement shows very clearly) we are nowhere near that stage yet. You think there's more to play out?

Pretty sure Hayden got plenty of game time under Benitez, especially towards the end of the 18/19 season.

Why can't everyone just get along?

Let's be honest. Hes incredibly injury prone. I suspect even Rafa would have run out of patience. I thought injury prone was someone who was prone to injuries without being tackled? ie. Andy Carroll Lejuenes had two shocking injuries as the result of a couple of bad tackles, so not sure it's fair to label him injury prone. He is/was a cracking centre back, hopefully if he's still the same player at Alaves then we can bring him back.
