I actually think Potter and his staff turned on last week's game of ours and laughed maniacally at two completely out of touch managers battling over who could play higher balls and win the most set pieces. He didn't have to plan anything for us. He has a system that plays 3 centre-backs and so knew Carroll wouldn't do anything. His front three stay close together high up the pitch (which Bruce couldn't manage all of last season playing 'Rafa's formation') and so he knew they would annihilate our two centre backs. And finally his two wingbacks also stay very wide and get forward also, and he knew this would put our full backs under immense pressure, as they would continuously be caught trying to help the centre backs or defend wide. It was a walk in the park for Brighton that required no effort at all. What do you make of that young lad White at the back for Brighton who was at Leeds last season? Jamie Redknapp was bigging him up but he's a well paid arselicker. He had fuckall to do yesterday mind.

Wew! No chance.

No doubt after the West Ham win Bruce must have thought he had cracked it and stumbled across a winning formula with our new signings and 'new' 4-4-2 formation. He probably told the players before KO yesterday "same again" and the performance & result would take care of itself and nobody could stop our threat of Carroll winning knock downs for Wilson with ASM doing fancy tricks. And then just like that, after 10 mins, he must have been completely nonplussed at the fact Potter & Brighton had more than likely studied our game v. West Ham and spent all week in training how to nullify & exploit us.

2-0. Wilson and ASM. -
Santiago Arias. Probably bullshit but we seem to enjoy signing right backs from Atletico.

If he still the player he was?

Only be worth taking if we were to have an option on the deal to make it permanent. No point giving Sessegnon game time to benefit Spurs if its going to reduce game time for Lewis. If he wasn’t first choice I could still see the benefit of a loan deal like. He’s a huge upgrade on Dummett, Atsu & Ritchie. Would happily see him get 15-20 games ahead of those three. Didn't kna he could play on the wing tbh. Thought he was just an LB

Worked out well a few times....Palacios, Valencia Paul Jewell signed Valencia on loan. Bruce made the deal permanent the next season.

Just cut our losses & flog the bastard if we can find a buyer.

That really is annoying.

I assume Kaka already knows that this player is the dogs bollocks so hopefully we don't loan him out.

Mitchell Curry: 1 goal for Harrogate, 1 goal for Inverness & 1 goal for Gatshead.

I'd be amazed if he wasn't dogshit.

Just seen too many players go down this route here man. It's always the same chat that they're just not good enough. We just need to sign more direct and rudimentary players with one of, or a combination of power and pace as a starting point, because ultimately that will always be useful to the kind of managers being preferred here. Funny how we seem to sign shit under Mike Ashley, innit?

Bit of an over exaggeration.

I just don't see how I can call someone a shit player when he isn't even being played in a team that can keep the ball enough to get him in any sort of decent scenarios to even begin to do anything, never mind what position or role he is even being given, which is a whole other story. This has been since he joined by the way. Why have we bought someone that came from a team good enough to be playing in the champions league with a top manager and tactician, a team that moves the ball around well and functions completely differently and then just thrown him up top and played long balls to him. All to just then proclaim how shit he is?! This really makes sense to people? Okay. Now he is magically lazy and lethargic too. Despite the fact he played for a high pressing team last year and this was listed as one of his strengths. Until we put this guy in a half decent team that can even perform to an okay level like we did on Saturday and he looks rubbish then, I am not having it. Joelinton is shit. And we played better than OK on Saturday. Wilson did v West Ham what Joelinton has barely done since he signed. Looked after the ball, worked hard and was in general a nuisance for the opposition.

[James]Quite depressing to say but the racists in our fan base are more likely to accept Manquillo than Beye.[/James] (joke/sarcasm)
