Their fans are up in arms about the lack of business/pushing on and it's clear they're never going to be ambitious enough to actually keep either of them for very long.

6/10. Seems a harsh score when you consider how amazing Trippier and Bruno are as signings (plus I generally think Targett and Burn are solid), just that the lack of dedicated central defender + pacey striker/support striker is risky.

Those Bruno compilations really stress the need for pace and movement - if Ekitike can play wide I hope we use him over Fraser, especially so in the absence of Wilson. Fraser-Wood-ASM isn't a particularly dynamic front three.

If Simeone loved Trippier then I'm sure Rafa would. In terms of ASM, as exciting as he is going forward he is undeniably a massive problem in every other area. If Rafa returned and got rid of him I wouldn't be too upset tbh.

Rafa wants a long term project near his home. If he's sacked I could definitely imagine him accepting the job with an eye on the Championship rebuild next season. Interesting to see what happens

There's a really good chance he'll be in the dugout come August in the Championship imo. Not sure the Saudis will have much patience with Howe if he takes us down after having from November to change things.
