Not for me. I want PIF to spend millions on us. I would love them to build a state of the art training facility, love them to upgrade and extend St James park. Love them to invest in the city of Newcastle. Love us to win trophies and replace one of the teams in the top 6. Let the money come in for a change. If NUFC was down south, the noise would be less. So for me, bring the money, bring the success, bring the feel good factor, bring the jobs because we aint going to get any of that with any Government in the UK who see us a second class citizens. Mainstream press are tying themselves into knots and will continue to do so. I read their comments/articles then I go on NUFC tv and twitter and search out the crowd videos etc. Something is building here again, it has the same feeling as the start of the Keegan era. This time though, we have shed loads of money to follow through. Survive this season, and some of the mainstream press will realise that NUFC is going to be a top 6 club and they will start to ease up on the criticism because they want to be in on the ride. Its exciting and the buzz in the town on match days is the best Ive witnessed for 20 years! That last sentence is just insane as its only 4 months ago that we were really in the shit! Whatever, not going round this circle again on separation IMHO, it will never happen that PL change the rules of the director test in a way that would make PIF fail the test and have to sell its 80%. PL have shown, once you have bought, you're in!

Its not what we believe that matters. Its what PL and PIF have legally agreed to: you can't in one instance have PL say they have legal clarifications of separation and that PIF are the owners to then have PL bring in new conditions and then say actually we believe the Saudi state own NUFC. Any new rules can be run against existing Directors only and Saudi State is not a director of NUFC, the PIF chairman is.

Doesnt matter as owner is PIF and not the Saudi State. As has been said by PL and ourselves many times.
