  1. He was on the bench for the game yesterday. Looks like we have a full complement of CBs available again. Glad to see he is back but Schar and Burn are the no 1 pairing at the moment.
  2. Price is irrelevant. We could have bought him for 1p and you would still have the same opinion. The cost of a player doesn't matter to the fan anymore because the amount of money the fans put in the clubs coffers, is a small % of the clubs income and so the 'spending out hard earned money' is no longer a valid concern. I agree Wood needs to score ( more for his own confidence), and I bet he would be the 1st to admit that. We dont play to Wood's strengths at the moment and Howe is using him more as a distraction to the opposition defenders so that the likes of Maxi, WIllock and Fraser get more space. Its working as we are unbeaten in 6, Wood has played in 5 of them. Correlation is there!
  3. This thread is so weird, we are unbeaten in 6 and like Kraft, people want to go at Wood. I dont get it. Wood is not our 1st choice, it was a reaction to the Wilson injury and we had wanted Etkieke also. At the moment, if we didn't get Wood then it would be that wonder boy Gayle, who no manager ever seems to want to play. I wonder why? We are were we are. At the moment Wood and Kraft are in the team because of injuries, we all know what they are but lets just support them until the end of the season and all work together to get us through to surviving in the PL this season. In the summer, Kraft and possibly Wood (although we will probably keep him as a 3rd striker), and Gayle and all the other edge players can be peddled. HWTL
  4. Agreed, we all know what Kraft is. We all know he is not the future but he is needed at this moment in time , until Manquillo and Trippier return. I'll support him like I support the team but in the summer he needs to be moved on. HWTL
  5. if we win this one then we won't get relegated. Brentford are in a false position and if we win it will suddenly dawn on the media that Brentford are prime relegation candidates.
  6. Shiver at the flashback of how the post match interviews were - compare that to Howe's now......Thank god he is some other fans problem!
  7. Im a 3, the only thing that can derail us is more injuries. We are playing in a structure and all the stats are rising. Brentford and Everton have to be really concerned!
  8. Joelinton and Willock can't be dropped at the moment. So Bruno may come in for Shelvey at some point but its a nice problem to have.
  9. west ham is a free hit. We lose, expected. Draw or Win, huge bonus. Think it will be 2-0 to Spam but fingers crossed for a bonus.

    Plane spotting

looks like its heading back to newcastle
  11. Nah, noone seems to know but it's a long way down from BDB back.
  12. Fraser when he jumped down from BDB back after the goal celebration
  13. So might be reading between the lines here but that's a no?
  14. up to Howe but anyone who has been here more than 4 years - I would seriously think about letting go - especially if in the 30's
  15. 4 games man.........which other side makes a big signing and then bang, could be out for rest of season?
  16. Fuck off with this - 7 posts - you're going on mute you prick!
  17. after the none equaliser went in - couldn't take any more and grabbed the dog and went for 40 min walk (like I did for the Burnley win). As I was walking back to the house, all 3 kids were waiting at the window with big smiles on their faces, so lovely to see that they are getting hooked on NUFC........I think
  18. I dont get it - you're a premier league player for Watford and they have brought in a 70 year plus manager to inspire them. That just aint going to happen is it?
  19. Perhaps but pissing in the wind. Do they honestly think MBS or Boris are going to do anything because of a protest at a football stadium? NUFC fans found out to their cost during the takeover saga with petitions and even MPs speaking in the commons, that no one gives a shit what football fans think. As I said they can protest away but the original statement is still shit, it isn't justified because the protests are aimed at the wrong people. They may as well come round to my place and protest. I will nod my head, say I agree with you but at the end of the day, the protest is aimed at the wrong people.
  20. They can protest all they want but its all bollocks. It won't make an ounce of difference. The SA regime are awful, but protesting at a football match and pointing it at football fans to sort --- is the proverbial pissing in the wind. That is why its a shit statement. If the West Ham LGBT want to enforce change then lobby parliament/MPs. Lobbying fans who have no power is bollocks!
  21. Think I'll worry about summer transfer targets once we know what league we will be in next season.
  22. Bollocks - what a shit statement!
