  1. I'm not convinced Hayden needs to be included in that list, but I know you rate him more than most. If Hayden’s out, we’ll be lining up without every player that’s shown us any semblance of form/ability/hope this season... Darlow, Manquillo, Schar, Almiron, ASM, Wilson. All down to a loanee from another club, and Dubravka to get in the way of everything and anything.
  2. He’ll risk Hayden and Krath for fitness to play them. He has to - Will be worrying if he doesn’t, and there only options at RB that are fit able to kick a ball. If both our fucked he’ll have to go back to ‘wing backs’ with Murph on the right Dub Murphy — Lascelles — Fed — Clark — Lewis Joe — Willock — Shelvey — Fraser Gayle
  3. Whey according to the transcript, Bruce doesn't even see sundays match as 'Must Win'. Accumulation of points innit... 3 points to 19th West Brom when we’re 17th, 12 games left with 3 points separating an upward looking Fulham is basically the same as the 3 points you’d get playing City away on opening day.
  4. Quality and quantity of England centrebacks in early 2000s up to 2004 probably was incredible looking back. Ferdinand, Campbell, Terry, Keown, Woodgate, King, Brown, Carragher, Southgate
  5. He’s ultimately responsible for the playing staff, and dressing room. If there are problems, unrest, leaks he’s the one that has to waddle up and take responsibility for it. From his point of view, aye stuff shouldn’t be leaked and that’s a problem, but he’s not going to sit there and hold his hands up and admit more information out than what already is whilst he takes accountability for it; deeper issue is state of dressing room clearly. To be expected the club and Bruce will deflect it and blame press, anonymous leaks, and Hopey!
  6. Cech Vidic — Van Dijk — Terry Keane Ronaldo — Lampard — Scholes — Cole Shearer — Henry
  7. Pack of bacon at £1.50, £5 a kilo. The fat bastard could get 800,000 kilos of the stuff! 3,000,000 packs! That’s what he’d call a retirement package.
  8. Just can’t see that he’ll be sacked one bit. Too late now anyway, too late to bring in a new manager, and Jones is already here anyway. Ashley won’t see the virtue in expending however million in sacking him just to have Jones, Harper and Smith take to end of season when they are already here anyway. Time for him to go would have been Christmas time, after that horror show away to Sheff United.
  9. Think people will forget that this creature was given a nice new deal end of last season. Here until like 2023 isn’t he? Wasn't reported anywhere... Was sure I saw that reported in summer. Must have dreamt, or had a nightmare about that then!
  10. Think people will forget that this creature was given a nice new deal end of last season. Here until like 2023 isn’t he?
  11. Simon Jordan, in fairness to him... he misses the mark when talking about why we loved, and still love Rafa. Aye, going against Ashley could be a corse summary of it, but he showed an ambition and so much more class and was a wholesome figure that represented our club and the city. He’s right about the players. Some of the players are no where near good enough, and performances are proving that weekly. We’ve some decent players, who can be really quality on their day, but squad is a shambles, and for however great ASM or Almiron are, or Wilson scoring you’re forever hoping and praying that the rest of the side with Shelvey, Hendrick, Krath, Lewis don’t cost you the game. Not to mention the dross that’s available from the bench to change a game, or non existence of academy lads. Football has changed for the better last month or so, since Jones and Leeds second half. We’re not camping deep so much, but that’s meaningless if this fat dosser isn’t actually winning us games.
  12. I know a couple of people who think Bruce is doing a decent job, they spout the same kind of s*** as Edwards, Mike Ashleys fault etc.. not Bruces. Mike Ashley is a part of the problem, but Rafa and even Pardew showed that a manager can still achieve on field performance despite ultimately set up to fail. I was one of those people Simon Jordan goes on about who weren’t having Bruce from the get go. Never wanted him here, career underachiever and managed Mackems - was never having him. Problem is though, he’s performing exactly how I and most expected. Even last season when we finished where Rafa did, the football was cancer to watch and could see results were unsustainable. If he kicked on this season and built from last seasons finish, he’s been given the players to do so I’d have to concede he’s doing alright. Don’t expect Europe from him and this regime, but give us a side that looks to win games, Wilson kicking on near 20 goals isn’t unrealistic, Schar, Dub, ASM, Fraser, Almiron - enough is here for Bruce not to be 17th in the league.
  13. Bruce is probably first manager he’s had that hasn’t had actually expectations of him, and tried to push him to be a better player. He’s now at an age where he’s reached whatever talent he had in him, and Bruce isn’t going to bother coaching him or training him. Hodgson, Daglish, Laudrup, Monk, Rafa all would have had higher standards and expectations of a midfielder with the ‘talent’ Shelvey has to whatever he bothered showing. All coincidentally got fed up of, couldn’t trust him, and eventually stopped playing him or being important in their sides. He’s lucked out getting Bruce as a manager at this stage of his career.
  14. Don’t use Twitter, and rarely look on there, this is pretty much only social media I’m using these days... for those that are on FB, Twitter are there still people that are backing Bruce, and don’t think these a total shitstain on this club? Hard to imagine these people exist. Only ever support or tolerance for him come from the media morons.
  15. And to shout Shelvey not to rush on the set piece. Should know him self like, he’s experienced enough. Team wasn’t set up at all, Ritchie still jogging on. Played enough county standard non league and everyone is shouting ‘slow it down’ etc. Make sure you wait for team is organised before delivery. At PL level there’s no excuse for Shelvey rushing that FK. Just a total mindless simpleton. Even if he’s seen a quick run to catch Wolves off guard, risk to reward isn’t there, especially at his skill level. That’s what separates quality players from likes of Shelvey.
  16. Have watched MOTD about once or twice in about 5 years. That was when it was on friends TV before heading out in evening couple of years ago. It’s been surpassed now by Sky or BT uploading highlights on YT, as well as the analyses punditry clips. Nobody has time, or is interested in watching an hour and whatever long program with moron pundits. Should just scrap it, save untold millions from the lisence fee payers and upload a online highlights platform like the Sky clips.
  17. Can’t get my head round players having Sunday, Monday off, and what Thursday as well? Top managers, or pretty much any club in PL or even Championship would have lads who played in on Sunday for recovery session, lads who didn’t play will train - then afternoon evening off. Don’t begrudge them Monday off, but any top coach would be having his side of double sessions through the week leading up to match day. Imagine Bielsa giving Leeds 3 days off a week. Not going to be training match day, and probably not full on day before; hard to believe Bruce will be doing double sessions, so out of 7 days players are likely getting 2/3 decent sessions in. Total joke. From what we’ve seen of Jones so far, and what we’ve heard of him with Martinez, he surely can’t believe what he’s seeing. No wonder players want him in charge. Some of lads aren’t stupid. They’ll see what they were doing under Rafa, or just from their former clubs and notice the drop in training sessions/quality. They’ll hear from players at other clubs what their doing. Any of the lads with high standards, and not lazy dossers like Jonjo (useless running, couldn’t play for Leeds!) should be pulling their hair out at how badly they are being coached and set up.
  18. Why was he ever allowed to play against us when he was on loan? Was still fairly young at the time, but seem to remember we tried to get him back from loan as we had injuries up front for European games?
  19. In respect to Ritchie saying Bruce has done f*** all for him, he’s pretty much right. Contract aside, and can imagine Ritchie’s got more about him to be just brought off by a new manager giving him a new deal. With Rafa, Ritchie was looking quite good at LWB. Seemed a natural fit from what I recall. Good delivery from wide areas, worked hard, but not enough pace to play that bit higher. Might be wrong, but looking back he was decent there. Rafa clearly valued him, who knows his longer term plans for him, but clear that Bruce can’t be that arsed with him. Fair enough his performances haven’t merited much, but from Ritchie’s point of view the side are a bag of s*** each week, especially pre Jones and he can’t get in the side, Joelinton and Hendrick and hoyed out wide and still barely featuring off the bench. Lewis has come straight in and seemed first choice LWB despite being worse than useless most weeks. As fans we’ll see it differently, but Ritchie will be backing himself good enough to be starting ahead of Lewis at wing back if he’s watching him fail miserably game after game. Any new deal is just going to be a cursory pat on the arse, and veiled attempt to get senior dressing room lad on Bruce’s side.
  20. Recall rumours Bellamy telling him where to go after not bringing him on in the CL they lost. Was sold off to West Ham that summer... Fairly sure too that he fell out with Alonso. There was that summer before he left where they tried all window to buy Gareth Barry and Alonso was persona non grata. Then you’ve got him binning off Terry at Chelsea; although no idea if either where disrespectful shitbags to him over there respective situations though. Ronaldo never took to him at Real either, moaned about Rafa telling how to take free kicks!
  21. Reminder that the Bruce team leaked his contract to Newcastle to get himself out of Sheff Wed... horrible, disloyal, scheming creature he is. No surprises he’ll be leaking all sorts out to Edwards and whoever. Disgusting to think he wouldn’t have told Darlow he’s dropped but allow it to be in press days before. Even if it was leaked, should be a conversation next day saying you are dropped but sorry you had to hear it through papers. Has history of sneaky business like that, forcing his way out of Palace to get his move to Birmingham despite only being at Palace few months, that was 20 years ago! Snake of a man.
  22. Another case of him getting off easy with no fans and no press allowed for interviews. Hardly going to receive any sort of ‘grilling’ over a Zoom conference. Going to again miss out the untold shit yelled at him for 90mins from an away end too. Can just picture him having to stand there hands in pockets whilst Jones points and instructs players around, with 3000 fans calling him a fat knobhead!
  23. Always thought for years it was Dummett. Probably more than one when things are s**** though as Midds says. Dummett’s good shout. He came out and canned Bruce for players having no clue what they were doing in warm up in Norwich away last season. Bruce’s second game in charge ffs!
  24. No idea who said it months ago, but Charnley should stick him gardening leave but on furlough and have his salary knocked down to £2k a month or whatever it is
  25. Love to see it! Only few weeks ago Team Bruce was on a full on PR campaign and back pages to drum up sympathy or distraction over him being called nasty things on the internet, now this! Looking forward to hearing Alex Bruce answer questions on this on TalkSPORT tomorrow. Probably be back hiding under whatever rock Steve kept signing him from though.
