Given up hope Bruce’s talents keeping us in this division, it’ll be any fortitude and togetherness within the dressing room that can grind out results with those front three coming back to score goals.

Thought he was class tonight, still a traction engine when it comes to overlapping his winger, but that’s never been his game. Looked the best and most assured out of side out there. Couldn’t give a second thought to Bruce regarding that equaliser. Lascelles being the person to score could be massive. I see that as potentially massive for the squad to bring themselves together to stay up for their own pride, rather than bothering to play for Bruce. As laughable as a player he is now, Bruce is doing himself no favours in just throwing him on for 2mins tonight, and 20seconds last weekend. Just going to be pissing off, and making yet another senior pro in the dressing room question the decision making.

Created the big chance for Joelinton against Wolves. Can’t believe he didn’t even get any minutes against West Brom. He’s that classical enigma wide player. Barely any end product, but capable of some mercurial brilliance once or twice a season. Surely a better option than Gayle wide left. Gayle’s not even productive through the middle.
