  1. And what happens if we go down? Re-negotiate So it’s not happening then. Exactly
  2. I’m now a 9 as can’t see this team under this manager getting enough points
  3. Since the second goal it’s been absolutely embarrassing. No plan B whatsoever and massive tell tale signs of a team going down. Man Utd have been there for the taking tonight. Darlow has to be dropped as he’s a liability currently. This team is going down unless that useless cunt is sacked.
  4. When has he had an alleged agreed 350 million price on the table? When we had two transfer windows and a full season ahead of us. That bid will not be on the table now, just like he upped the asking price in the summer, their valuation of the club will be lower now. Ashley has shown in the past that he'll gamble on us staying up rather than accept a lower offer. So you’re saying what I’m trying to say that no bid is on the table and is the exact reason why Ashley has not attempted one thing to guarantee safety as he would have if there had been. If this club is relegated there will be no takeover. No, I think there is probably some kind of bid still on the table (otherwise, why hasn't the loan between him and PCP been satisfied on Companies House?). I also think it's probably conditional on survival. I think that Ashley has not done one thing to guarantee safety because wants to pocket the full £350m and is willing to take the gamble that we could be relegated. Which is exactly what he did last season and the first time Staveley bid for the club. But I do agree that there will be no takeover if we go down because Ashley will again chose to gamble on us getting straight back up rather than reducing his valuation of the club. Still think if he knew he was getting a guaranteed 350m he would be doing more, in my personal opinion anyway as last season we were pretty safe after the Sheff Utd game at home and that no agreement was in place at any time during Steveley's original bid. I do agree on your second point though concerning relegation. Think his action was the new coach and to be fair it looked like it might have been enough. Problem is the lack of, or s***, investment is coming back to bite us - no decent cover for Wilson is what will do us. If he, Almiron and ASM were all fit, I'd be more optimistic of us staying up in spite of Bruce. Maybe, but, I remember Rob Lee being amazed at Jones being brought in as he’s obviously not a fan and his son did play under him.

  6. How does that absolute piece of a s*** footballer keep getting a game - oh wait steve f***ing useless bruce

  9. It just does not make either economic or common sense for Ashley to risk relegation and the value of the club halving IF the takeover was anywhere near completion on the reported 350 million.
  10. Don't think so. A lot of the long standing fans I know have just been going out of habit for the past few years and now that habit has been broken they aren't about to just run back when they can. That's just people that I know I suppose and they could be in the minority but I've got a feeling they aren't. Same in my experience also.
  11. Totally disagree, but, we will see when they do return.
  12. Think a good majority of the fans will not give a shit anymore. Go down and I’ll be amazed if there is even half the ground full when crowds return. I don’t think there will be anywhere near 35000 crowds either if we stay up and there’s no takeover. Think this last year is the straw which broke the camels back with most fans.
  13. It’s got to be as they won’t be stupid enough to pay the asking price and Ashley has shown previously that he will gamble on keeping the club, thinking we will go straight up and he will get that price again. Think about it if the takeover was so close do you really think even Ashley would be gambling on relegation when he has a guaranteed price agreed? Could be different now as his retail operations must have taken a f*** off big hit. He might take the view that a guaranteed 200m now is better than a potential 300m but having to spend 50m a year to get it. Numbers made up obviously. And assuming PIF would want a champ club which I'm not convinced of anyway. So if that’s the case why hasn’t he took the steps to ensure we don’t get relegated if he has a guaranteed price and yet stands to lose half of that (no club in the championship will be bought for 200 million). He’s going to lose a lot more money if we go down and a takeover doesn’t happen as we could be down for a good few years. Screams to me nothing is happening. Quite simple, he doesn't really know much about football, saw we were 8pts clear, and thought we aren't going down. I mean plenty on here thought the same thing up to a week ago. One of the only ones who was still a bit scared for us was brummie and that's because he knew first hand just how s*** Steve Bruce actually is. Even he isn’t that stupid to gamble a guaranteed 350 million though if the takeover was on the cards. As I said screams to me nothing is happening as in that situation he will gamble all day long as we all know. As I said, he knows nothing about football, so he's definitely stupid enough to think we were doing fine up until last week. You might see his arse twitching in the next couple of weeks though, especially if we lose to Wolves. Well we play our next two games before Fulham play so be interesting if we do not beat Wolves. Bruce going is the only way to stop relegation and then also get a proper manager in and not Jones.

  17. Other than Yorkie, was anyone putting 0s and 1s? Weird St1pe seems to be revelling in it too. There was more than Yorkie mind Just had a look, there were a couple, aye. Yeah, I knew it wasn’t many mind maybe I should have put ‘the few ‘.
  18. His failure to act shows me there is no takeover in sight. Even he wouldn’t jeopardise a guaranteed 350 million if there was.

  20. All these people putting 0 and 1s last week was surely kidding themselves when you have Steve fucking Bruce as manager. Ashley has to act now or this team is down.
  21. It’s an accidental foul, but, it resulted in stopping a certain goal. Pen for me like.
  22. Unless the Reubens are willing to put money in also also.
  23. You're right this is brain dead twitter s***. Never say never Duncan Castles must have heard a whisper from somewhere. It’s Newcastle United rule nothing out. So if that's correct then close this thread as he also said the Saudis are not in for the club anymore.

  25. Not a chance Rafa comes back unless a takeover is confirmed. I'd be stunned if Ashley even considered it either.
