  1. It's criminal that after 3 years, Murphy and Almiron are still the first choice right wingers. Instead 40 million has been spent on a squad player in Barnes. It's also highly noticeable that other managers have worked out the 433 lineup and are confident (or should I say certain), that this formation will not only start the game, but will not change during the match at any time. I'm far from convinced that Joelington, Bruno and Tonali are suited to playing together, too much of a like for like scenario, missing pace and creativity. Longstaff is another like Murphy and Almiron, who should have been moved on. I was laughing last season when some on here were spitting their dummies out, when I suggested that Howe was under pressure this season - he was then and he certainly is now. I would love nothing better for Howe to find the solutions, but I'm not convinced he will, as he is so stubborn in his formations and tactics. We had a really good set of games from the start of the season and here we are sitting in 12th position. If this form continues then he will be gone before the January transfer window, as the owners will want a new manager to have the input into the January window. If he does survive January and doesn't qualify for the Europa League at least, then he will certainly be gone imo. The owners will not stand for that for a second season in a row, as it massively reduces the level of revenue and commercial sponsorship coming into the club. The fact that Howe and Mitchell are not seemingly on the same page is also a massive issue.
  2. He puts us under unnecessary pressure with his constant side and backward passing.
  3. Not wait until February if he is going to go as if they want a new manager they will want to give him the money within the transfer window now x
  4. Nobody says we were growing organically to match Man United, I was just pointing out the crap that other clubs have also had to build/extend stadiums to grow, which isn't organically either. Everyone realises it needed owners with mega money to allow us to challenge. As I have said many times I will await the official announcements coming with regards to the training ground, stadium and sponsorship. That is when we will know for certain what is really happening and the aspirations of our owners.
  5. So did Spurs, Arsenal, City and Chelsea, Liverpool extended their ground. That wasn't natural either according to your 'philosophy'.
  6. Man City didn't accept the sponsorship value though that's the whole point and Emirates top bloke came out stating exactly what I said earlier
  7. Man City have seemingly increased there sponsorship deal as a direct result of the arbitration. There is no way a uk company can assess a company from Saudi or UAE. We will find out better when the new rules are agreed (if they actually are)
  8. It's getting embarrassing the amount of assumptions being made on here, when nobody has a clue what is actually happening
  9. And how are the qualified to assess a Saudi business?
  10. How are the Premier league qualified to judge what is fair market value with a Saudi company
  11. Luton should have won comfortably today. A goal disallowed for offside when it wasn't by a good way, just before half time. They may make the playoffs as the league is so poor, but can't see them going up automatically. They have been second best in their last two games, but have come away with 6 points as a direct result of shocking official decisions.
  12. Don't listen to the shite being spouted then
  13. Aye it wasn't even close absolute shocker by the linesman
  14. Doom patrol on overtime again I see
  15. Oh yes, and I don't think it's due to negativity either. I'm convinced there are some on here, who purposely stir the pot whenever anything negative happens. I'm also convinced these people would probably be happy with mid table and other owners. The stadium plans when released will (imo) clarify everything
  16. Thanks I never read the article, so was just asking the question. I see the usual doom patrol are on the march again
  17. No I don't know but they were her messages, so was just asking, how do you know that it definitely wasn't?
  18. Has it been identified who leaked the WhatsApp messages, was it Staveley?
  19. They were weak nobody is arguing that. Burn was out of position though. Your central defenders should not be 30 yards apart on a free kick situation. If any forward moves back to the half way line then we certainly have the physicality in the midfield department to deal with that. It also leaves the position of a ball being played in behind, with a player with no pace being left wide open.
  20. He was out of position for the goal despite what mr clueless says. I actually mentioned in one of my posts that I don't think he's bad defensively and has been our best defender this season. His limitations with the ball and his total lack of pace are an issue though.
  21. Kick off is twice a game and I've yet to see any defender on the halfway line. Or do you mean goal kicks and free kicks, again the City keeper usually gets it a lot further than the half way line (when he does kick that long which he very rarely does). Set plays he is never even near the 6 yard box as he usually takes a position wide of the goal. With his size he should be dominating everyone in the air. As for Welbeck he should be in a position to cover the other central defender and vice versa. He does not have the pace or technique to cover players on the halfway line and he certainly shouldn't be anywhere near the opposition box in open play as a central defender. I'm not replying anymore as I totally disagree with anything you're saying. You would think he had the pace and technique of a Stones or a Van Dyk the points you are making
  22. What absolute total bollocks
  23. Halland doesn't drop deep much for a start, he's usually playing off the last man. Burns does not have the pace to follow players to the half way line as he will be crucified with one pass in behind. There was once yesterday he was in a forward midfield position, which was absolutely ridiculous
