  1. As always it’s likely there will be two sides to the story and the truth with be somewhere in the middle.

It does seem a huge coincidence that Liverpool fans are always involved. I can imagine the police were put in a difficult situation but their reaction was probably well over the top too.

A real Madrid player kicked it first though and when he kicked it, benzema was offside. It then deflected off a Liverpool player into benzema's feet. That's why he was offside.

Did a Real player kick that though? I’ce had a few shandies and I didn’t see that at all.

It deflected from Allison to two Liverpool players before landing back at Benzema? Did it not?

There's a ton of nothing English midfielders who fit that criteria.

Harry Winks being the current "25m rated" water carrier. They're all nothing players.

He must have some compromising photos of someone at Tottenham. Complete fraud of a player.

2 goals and 3 assists in 128 games across 6 seasons ffs. He’s 26 now too, not even a youngster.

Contributes fuck all offensively or defensively as a CM.

Tottenham love breeding that type of player - Oliver Skipp another one.

Almost missed this as well. Very nice. You've called me clueless for simply stating that I don't think the Conference League is a major trophy.

Can I redirect you to this thread:

This thread where you state that Leciester getting to the semi final of the Conference isn't even a pro, as it's barely the Intertoto Cup, and that the competition isn't worthy of praise for a Leicester manager.

    Enjoy.

That’ll be Leicester who have recently won the PL and FA Cup, compared to Roma who haven’t won a single trophy in 14 years.

    You’re comparing apples and pears.

I called you clueless for underestimating the achievement of Mourinho winning a trophy with Roma, as it clearly is a decent achievement for a club with no trophies in 14 years.

Getting to the semi finals of the Conference League isn’t a pro for a Leicester manager. They should be winning it. They shouldn’t even be in it, they only were as they failed in a straightforward Europa League group.

It’s quite easy to understand two clubs in different positions can and should have different objectives. So aye, you are clueless.

Of course, but you likely won't be saying that in 10 years.

Roma haven’t won a single trophy in 14 years ffs. I’m not surprised they’re delighted with it.

It’s not comparable to Man Utd and believe it or not there is a world beyond Man Utd.

Man, this guy had Kane and Son at Tottenham and they were a bad watch. The guy's football is dull as dishwater man.

That's why he ultimately had to leave Man Utd and Tottenham. The fans were not going for it.

A bad watch that got to a cup final?

Kane and Son also got 74 goals and 41 assists under Mourinho  They were class under him and both loved him.

Man Utd have also done impeccably well after booting him. From a European cup win to fuck all.

Yes, his football is nowhere near as dreary as Mourinho's.

    It’s not as successful either.

It’s such a myth that he plays dull defensive football week in week out. He does, when the time is right to get a result. That’s what top managers do, change their tactics based on the opposition.

Feyenoord created nothing until Mourinho got to halftime 1-0 up and decided to park the bus and got lucky.

Roma had some of the best chances in the 2nd half. If anything that could easily have finished 2-0.

How did they get lucky? If anything Feyenoord were lucky not to play the final 35 minutes with 10 men.

It's not mad at all. It's an awful watch, even when he has quality players to utilise.

Yes, he wins and can't knock it, but he has to, otherwise fans just can't stomach the football.

I definitely wouldn't want him at Newcastle.

    Did you like Rafa?

  10. Mad that people criticise Mourinho’s style when he constantly delivers. First ever European trophy and first trophy in 14 years for Roma. He turns up and does it immediately.

Also performed relatively well in the league.

I enjoy a tactical masterclass like that more than I do Man City passing the ball around their midfield 500 times with no challenges coming in before losing it and starting again.

  11. Sensible decision. Gives him enough time to prove that he can step up and if he can’t, it ensures he’ll have enough time on his deal for us to get a decent fee in.

Have some slight hope he’ll kick on, but he’s already a useful back up option as it is so more than okay to still be here.

“According to Mark Kleinman, those who remain in contention for the acquisition of the club have been told that they must commit at least £1 billion to future investment at the Blues.

This will include investment in the squad and the redevelopment of Stamford Bridge, with binding offers needing to be submitted by the middle of April.

As well as this Raine will be assessing the bids on a variety of factors, such as the price and their future commitments to spending.”

maybe I’ve got it wrong, but I’ve put this guaranteed £1bn+ investment as part of the purchase price. But it might be added to the price. I’m not sure.

Think you’ve got that wrong. I read that as just needing to provide evidence/assurances that the money is there to support that level of spending.

Under Benitez, Sissoko was made captain for the run in and played well. Wijnaldum was dropped, he only really turned up at home games that season and even then the home games from February to the end of the season he didn't even bother for bar the final one once we were already down.

Sissoko was made captain because he had a huge influence over the French-speaking lads in the squad. Benitez was trying to get him on side in the hope it’d get all of them in line.

It was also in response to McClaren’s stance of trying to break up the French clique, which had lost him the dressing room.

My totally random, not ITK at all type prediction is site back up tomorrow, followed by an announcement of a (very) limited general sale on commencing on Monday.

Would be surprised if it’s that early. They’ve only just closed the renewals and they’ll be flat out trying to work through them.
