One of my favourite results of the season already.
Totally deserved too, should’ve been 3-0 up with that ridiculous non-decision.
People say VAR isn’t to blame, but it is, pre-VAR the ref would’ve just given the decision but there is a clear hesitancy to give decisions now, knowing VAR will mop up behind them.
Problem is, it never does.

A plucky point at home to their relegation rivals. Bet Maddison is desperate for his move to a big club and fighting for Europe with Bruno and Big Joe.
-
I tried to watch his video but he spent the first three minutes just talking around the point and not actually saying what happened.
Love how he goes on like he’s a celebrity But aye, people shouldn’t lay hands on him.
-
Set up perfectly for Ronnie to come off the bench and save the day. Bet he’s close to orgasm.

Groß ziele.

Hahahahahahahahaha 2-0

McTominay is always hiding from the ball. When he gets - back or sideways.
He’s Championship standard, he’s no better than Colback.
-
A midfield of McTominay and Fred is so poor that Man Utd have no chance of success.

Cheers ?
Having done some more creative Googling, Leicester appeared to host a Caribbean Carnival yesterday.

How does it work with Coventry, they rent the ground don't they? So is it another company that manages the pitch, and out of Coventry's hands?
I’m assuming their acceptance the pitch is shite and clear public disdain is to use in some sort of legal battle later down the line.
I guess you’re right, it’s rented and the rent agreement will have clauses in relation to the upkeep.

Anyone know why Leicester vs Brentford is on at 2pm today, despite not being on tv ?

I think if he stays fit til November he'll go to the World Cup.
Kane is a certain, beyond that who else do England have as a striker?
Calvert-Lewin is permanently crocked. All of the other picks for England are attacking midfielders; Foden, Grealish, Saka etc. We’d be better off losing one of those for Wilson but it’ll never happen because they have to be selected by default.
Abraham is quite rightly likely to go, I would say. But only taking two actual strikers is shite. Doesn’t fit Southgate’s dreadful style though.

Another poor signing, no doubt for a lot of money. Excellent.

Only a matter of time before we get an injury and someone suggests we should try him in midfield.

It's strange how different people see a game. Looking at their forum and the majority of them think Colback had a good game. I thought his was an echo of his time here, nothing on the ball and constantly chasing after his man and not really getting near.
I know it's only 1 game but I fear a long hard season for them.
He even managed an obligatory “run into the back of the player and let them fall over and win a free kick”.

Only just seen Coventry v Rotherham has been postponed today because the pitch isn’t suitable.

The state of that. What on Earth is going to happen there?

It’s mad how fantastic Gerrard and Lampard both were at football, but then they have to talk often and you realise what utter cunts and generally clueless they are.
Same with Bruce. You’d think playing the game consistently well at a high level under some outstanding managers would rub off on you.

Come on Fantail man, it’s been a great weekend of football, everyone is buzzing, you don’t need to come in and constantly squabble with people all the time.
As soon as you appear the mood just changes in each thread. Take a rest and just be jolly for a bit, it’ll do you wonders.
I mean it’s only fair to correct people when they respond to your posts talking absolute crap.
Haven’t even been negative, maybe you need to look in some other threads.

Well you say that the Maddison has no chance but you dont know really, it’s just your opinion, which has been wrong in the past as we do know.
Sorry that I don’t have a 100% success rate with my opinions as a football supporter. Look forward to you listing someone who does.
My opinion on Maddison, supported/guided by nearly every journalist reporting on the story as well as most Leicester fans, seems a sound opinion. Not many teams will sell their best two players unnecessarily with little time to replace them.

Would be disappointed with a defeat. Draw would be okay and a win probably the expectation if we want to push on.

So there’s no such thing as ‘dead as fuck’ unless you’re actually dead…….as fuck.
I don’t know what you’re talking about. I said “dead duck”, I think you’ve made that bit up yourself.
If you need some help, the definition of dead duck is “a person or thing that is defunct or has no chance of success.”
The Maddison deal would have no chance of success if Fofana is sold.

Gerrard has been dreadful apart from a slightly okay start. Him and Lampard are hilarious, slotted into big jobs with no brain or experience* and it’s showing.
*Managing Rangers in a league of two teams isn’t adequate for the Villa job.

I also believe Godfrey’s injury yesterday was down to VAR.
100% pre-VAR the linesman would’ve flagged in that situation and probably guessed (correctly). He didn’t, because he knew it’d be looked at if anything came of it and they’re encouraged to let the phase of play go on.
