  1. I hope my sarcastic comment about Lloyd Kelly's 'legacy' hasn't been taken seriously
  2. He would be a decent signing for them but would he really want to tarnish his legacy with us?

I remember in the dark Bruce days, sometime between the Sheff Utd defeat and the el Jurrasico game against Allerdyces WBA some a group of guys at work who all supported various cartel teams would dismiss my complaints about Bruce with the typical BBC/Sky Sports lines of 'he's doing a great job with what's available ' 'at least you won't get relegated ' 'he's a nice guy, lay off him'. Then a Villa fan jumped to my defence and said 'lads, you have no idea what's its like to be managed by Steve Bruce until you're managed by Steve Bruce. Trust me, your fan bases couldn't handle it.' I think that sums him up brilliantly. He isn't a manager, he is a curse upon a club. No fanbase gets out alive. Blackpool have survived longer than I thought they would.

I'm just glad his parents aren't around anymore to witness such sickening, vile abuse like this
  5. I'm not sure how much the world cup will affect Isaks thinking. I know they also have Gyökeres but let's be real, Isak is never going to be left out of the squad unless he get leprosy or something

Juve and Leverkusen? Como too but aren't they like the Italian Wrexham or something?

I signed him for my Ajax team on EAFC24. I can confirm that he is comfortable playing RB and can hold his own as a CDM. He also honoured his contract and didn't kick up a fuss when I rejected all bids for him.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Joelinton is Eddie Howe's Newcastle personified. Intensity is his identity, what he lacks in technical ability he makes up for in aggression and never-say-die attitude. When he's out of the team, especially against better opposition we sorely miss him. He's worth more to us than whatever skimpy fee we'd get for him.

I'm not a violent or sadistic man. I would never force anyone to spend a night trapped in a coffin filled with flesh eating cockroaches. BUUUUUT, if it had to be anyone, it would be that narcissistic, spaghetti shagging gimp. Anyone uttering the words "Here we go could be soon" should be shot at dawn

At this point, the only signings that will get me excited will be a new CEO, DoF and scouting team to ensure that such a pigs ear of a window doesn't happen again
  11. 100% This saga will define our reputation. We want to send a message to the football world, in particular the cartel, that if you want one of our star players, you pay every penny of our valuation. We also want to send a message to current and future players that their scorched earth tactics to force a move aren't going to work here. I'd happily see us cut our nose off to spite our face by refusing all offers, having this cunt spend the season in the reserves, on the treatment table or at home for all I care even if it means losing out on a significant sum of money when we eventually sell him next year. The way he and the dippers have acted shouldn't result in them getting what they want.
  12. TBHFWIWIMHO, I think he'll be a Liverpool player come September. Having this mopey snake dragging his bottom lip around the place is destructive to the team spirit Howe and the players have worked so hard to build. It can only be a good thing that the club are briefing that offers less than the 150m valuation won't be entertained, now let's see if they have the testicular fortitude to stick by it. Isak, his agent, the dippers and their media shills have played every snidey trick in the book to try and weaken our hand, it feels like we've weather that particular storm as evidenced by the fact Romano and Ornstein aren't tweeting about how Isak only wants to join the divine paragons of footballing virtue, the club God created in his own image and how Newcastle are a bunch of big greedy meanies for not letting Liverpool off with a few million or 40m here and there!
  13. This guy has such a funny, infectious, larger than life personality that it kinda makes you forget that he's actually not all that good at football!
  14. A few weeks ago, the prospect of that Edwards article being true would've been music to my ears. But too much water has gone under the bridge now, I want the cunt gone, I don't care who, if anyone replaces him, he absolutelycan not play for us ever again, I'm fucking done with him. I love our players, because they have heart and they leave absolutely everything out on the pitch, Isak is never going to be willing to do that and if the reports are true that the players are pissed off at him and aren't welcoming him back into the fold, that's good enough for me. FWIW, that Edwards article is likely smoke and mirrors, the club are probably using him to send a message to the dippers and their client journos
  15. How the hell are we gonna fit Isak, Wissa, Jackson, Samu and Kolo Muani in the same team?

    Yoane Wissa

Is there still nothing about whether Brentford have accepted our offer or not? Forgive me for being cynical, but this has all the hallmarks of the local journos briefing that we're 'closing in on Wissa' whipping up a hullabaloo before Ornstein torpedos us with a 'Newcastles offer falls short of Brentfords valuation'

Could this thread not have at least waited until Nicholas Jackson rejects us?!
  19. I think I'd rather have post-curry diarrhea mainlined into my veins than listen to the cartel circle jerk that is the Overlap
  20. I don't have the internal strength to even contemplate this wonderful man ever leaving us.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Fair enough. Perhaps it's recency bias or perhaps it's just us experiencing a whole new type of pain. We've suffered the pain of the club being a decaying husk, destroyed by one man's greed Now we're suffering the pain of the bigger kids ganging up and bullying us for having the audacity of trying to compete with them and we have no one standing up for us.
  22. This preseason is starting feel more and more like a fever dream

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Yes. Attempting to break our transfer record twice and being wee guy'd by the cartel teams both occasions, numerous other rejections, lazy links to underwhelming and over priced PL players suggesting the scouts are all out of ideas, having your best player in generations downing tools, everyone in football laughing at the fact that no one wants to join us and it now being painfully obviously that there is no leadership structure at club is infinitely more painful than Mike Ashley's husk of a club deciding against a 1m loan fee for Hamza Choudoury. Context is key. We're now an ambitious club trying to build on a successful season, we headed into this window only really needing 3 bits of quality at RW, RCB and GK, we had plenty of PSR head space, no pressing need to sell any purples and a list of exciting links that had been doing the rounds for a while, there was so much to look forward to.
