I'm sure bias plays into it, but I wouldn't swap Eddie for any other manager in the league. Give Eddie a stone and he'll carve you a statue, I don't think any other manager in the league elevates players in the way he does. For years we'd talk about how players would come in, look good and then get 'Pardewed' or 'Bruced' and turn to shit, thankfully now we get to enjoy our players being 'Howed'. If for arguments sake Eddie takes the England job tomorrow, I'd be fine with Iraola, Emery, Glasner or Frank taking over (albeit Frank is a bit of a nonce) and I'm sure we'd be in and around the same sort level we are now. I can’t envisage Pep, Slot and Arteta here and I'm not even sure how much of a cut above the aforementioned managers they are bearing in mind the financial restrictions they have imposed upon then. I'm getting really fucking bored of this saga and I'm finding it harder and harder to defend his actions, especially with all that's going on with our own club.
