100% someone on here, can't remember who, nailed a few weeks back, basically saying that the Saudi modus operandi is to enter a sports/entertainment market and throw untold fortunes at whatever their pet project is at the time until the money eventually buys you success. In the PL, you have to be smarter than that and you require a meticulous, strategic road map to circumvent all the potholes and chicanes the cartel have put in the road. Now they know they can't buy their way to the top, they seem to have lost enthusiasm and appetite and care more about bailing out the cartel by buying their flops and paying them obscene fortunes to play in a sterile wank factory of a league in front of crowds that Whitley Bay would be embarrassed of. Their ambitions far exceed their ability. Look at that ridiculous Neom city they wanted to build for example.

We're still waiting on Arsenal to cuck us right? They we can move on to being cucked the European and Saudi cartels. Prepare yourselves for a deadline day bid for Füllkrug before hearing that 'Füllkrug only wanted Slovan Bratislava'
-
Heard Brendan Rodgers is keen on bringing him up to Celtic, so I'll save pasta nonce the trouble: "Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Celtic 🍀 Here We Go! NUFC ⚫️⚪️ were keen but failed to agree personal terms and the Scottish giants offered important salary. Calvert Lewin only wanted Celtic."

So is it now time for the Saudi cartel to bitch slap us?

He has absolutely nailed it. For the overwhelming majority of my life I've wondered why we can't just have nice things once in a while, why are we always the butt of the joke. The 2nd half of last season felt like heaven and it's quickly reverted back to hell as we've emphatically been reminded by the high and mighty where our place is. I don't mind going from nothing, to everything and then back down to nothing again, but to have someone's foot on top of our head keeping us under water makes me wonder what's the fucking point in even trying anymore. This is 'going from Rafa to Bruce' levels of despair for me.

I didn't have Bayern on my sweepstake.

If you fool me once, shame on you If you fool me twice, shame on me If you fool me three times, you must be Joao Pedro
-
Ah well, I guess it's times like these you just have to do the honourable thing and take a step back, hold you hands up and say 'I hope you break every bone in your body twice you fucking scumbag'

If our own overlords who have overseen a complete dogs dinner of a transfer window are the next to cuck us, then that'll probably be enough to make me abandon football completely and start following Tiddlywinks tournaments instead

In all serious, I have a better feeling about Jackson than I ever did for Sesko (the ratty little pimple that he he is).
-
Nicholas Jackson, oooooh He is for reeeeaal Never wanted Sesko/Pedro/Hugo/Delap/Wissa anyway (delete as appropriate) Jackson over Isak any day!
-
Yes it does..................if that Champions League club is USG, Slavia Prague or Celtic

Most people seemed content with getting Elanga for 55m, bearing in mind that striker is nearly always the most expensive postion to recruit, I don't think 50-65m is as outrageous as it once sounded. 25m-30m would just about get you a Celtic/Rangers/Championship player these days. And yes, I'll happily buy those magic beans you're selling

OK. This has been the most tedious saga of all the tedious sagas in tedious sagaland SO FAR
-
How many days are we beyond the 'decision within 24 hours' deadline? That was Saturday right? I'm kinda glad this saga is over from our perspective and it's Man Utds problem now. This has been the most tedious saga of all the tedious sagas in tedious sagaland

I know it's sickening to contribute to Chelsea next splurge, but if it's not us giving them money for Jackson, they'll find the money from someone else, they're excellent sellers. Who knew that if you hoard a load of promising players that they'll develop into little pots of money to cash in whenever you please, a good loan spell and a bit of inflation will ensure you'll make a tidy profit and if that fails, give your pals at Strasbourg or the Saudi league a call and tell them how much you need. If all that fails, you can always sell the burger van outside Stamford Bridge to yourself for 400m

I wonder how many pages this thread will get to before the saga turns into a disaster and which striker we'll be linked to next. I'll go with page 47 and the turning point will be a Romano tweet " #NUFC ⚫️⚪️ 80m bid accepted by #Chelsea 🔵 but fail agree personal terms with Jackson ❌️ 🇸🇳 Jackson wants to fight for his place at Chelsea" Strand Larsen will be the next man up
