Rory Stewart running the line.
Left or right wing?

I mean he’s 33 and played 3 games in the pissing down rain all week, howes called it wrong for me tonight.
Behave man... Nobody would have suggested dropping our top assist maker or normally reliable player before the game
-
I think wolves are penning Tripps in the corner and blocking his passes out.
Almiron needs to drop deeper to help him out
-
Have we got the England Trippier... I want our Trippier back!
-
Do you think we have just asked Krafth if he fancied a day out or he is actually fit?

Hope this doesn't end up being a setback for him, playing really well at the moment, may be difficult to get that form back following injury as we have already seen with other players
Tend to think thats more leg based injuries that impact their running or kicking ability.
Schar has shoulder issues and as CB will play in a more physical area of the pitch..

But in all seriousness.. is Miley available for the bench ?

Don't be so stupid. We need Jamaal available to give Wilson a break in Isak's
I would suggest Pope in midfield.. at least he would only get a yellow if he decides to pick the ball up this time!

I don't want to pan him because he's very useful and has been integral to the press, but if a player is that one footed at Championships League level, they need to be very, very good.
Murphy is not Champions League either but it showed on Saturday that with a natural right footer we can go from front to back in the blink of an eye.
There was no chance of that last night and the FB does not need to worry about the cross coming in

The whole attack was a bit flat other than Gordon, but Miggy was incredibly frustrating last night. It brought back PTSD from the League Cup final.
That's how I described it last night... We know we are close but unless we are 100% spot on for these games, experience seems to count.

At the end of the day you have to be super clinical or rely on lady luck at the very top.
Longstaff missing his shot in the last seconds at Milan.
Us Hitting the bar twice last night
All three go in and we are on 9 points after only playing really well in one and half games?
On balance it might drive us on more knowing we can't rely on team spirit and stamina but need that extra magic or seasoned pro when called upon.

Been busy but is this only Hope reporting the story... As my utter dislike automatically defaults to me thinking he is talking bullshit

Surely that package is worth 100 million bid from a Saudi Club ...

He seems to be another one who is bought into the culture and the fan base.
He joined us under a cloud with haters both at his old and new club, the petualnce after being subbed in the Brentford game etc.
But maybe he needed that to refocus his own mind and prove the doubters wrong.
Many players have wilted under the pressure but it's great to see him flourishing now.

I enjoyed the atmosphere yesterday; it was never gonna be bouncing given the fixture and it being job done at half-time, but I thought there was a pretty consistent backing and the Tonali chants felt plenty vociferous from where I was. Didn't hear the Palace fans but for a short round of "shhh" at around 80 minutes when the game was dead and buried.
I wonder how many hundred missed the two goals at the end of the first half. Fucking hell, man. Absolutely dozens of people piling out around me from the 38th minute onwards. Do they really just not give that much of a fuck, like? Is that what it comes down to? I guess we knew this from the Ashley days.
I know I bang this drum but when did we get so entitled that thousands of fans leave early at a 4.0 game.
Honestly more fans are leaving earlier now then when we were crap.

We are probably going to need Bruno and Longstaff to play every game this season now which isn't ideal, like.
Despite him not being great so far it's actually going to be a much bigger loss than some think I reckon.
Willock, big Joe, Miley, Anderson?
-
Yeah let's ignore the new shirt deal, new sponsorship, increased champions league revenue, increased merchandise sales etc...
Tonali will bankrupt us and the sky is falling...

Would be much better if we didn't have ex players commenting on their old teams games.
Neville today, Goodman last night.. no way can they be 100% neutral especially in a derby game!
