Nah, they will sign someone plus Gordon can 150% play on the right if needed. I expect someone will come in at RW regardless. It isn't exactly a dire situation if he stays but as @midds said, anything around 10M is fine.
-
That would be a good 10 man lineup for sure.
-
Agree with everything but I'd throw Barnes on the LW and Gordon on the RW.

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

What time is kickoff? -
In this case just not imminent? edit: in response to @Alberto2005

Fair comment on all points really.

I was just reading this. Very interesting. Liked this part. Sorry if I am quoting too much. “When I signed, my goal was to play for the first team. I was highly rated up until I was 12 or 13, but lads develop at different times and by the time we were moving on to bigger pitches, I hadn’t. I was half-expecting to be released, but getting the news was hard to take. At school, I was the kid who plays for Newcastle. It was my identity and to have that taken away was difficult.” Carlisle it was. “Moving away from home at 16 takes a lot of sacrifice, but it matures you,” Gillespie says. “You’re basically fighting for your life because you’re on your own and it’s sink-or-swim because where do you go from Carlisle? Getting into the team when I did brings responsibility. I was asked to communicate and be a leader from the back and you’re dealing with senior players who have played hundreds of games. “You’ve got a lot to lose at that age and then when you get in the team, you’re like, ‘Oh my god, I’m playing in League One’, and you don’t want to lose that because still it’s a fast slope down. You build credit in the bank; 50 games, 100 games, 200 games, and then all of a sudden you’re not one mistake away from obscurity anymore. You’ve built a career.”

I would assume going to matches is not a right, I mean it is a private business. Can't you get banned from Tesco for raising hell for example? In the USA it's called being trespassed and you try and enter, you get arrested.
-
Fair point for sure. Early days.
-
They just got here but if you are referencing Kuol, he isn't progressing for sure. Minteh worked aye?
-
They are serious about stocking the academy with real prospects it seems.
-
Gordon is perfectly fine on the right. *ducks the drinks being thrown at me*.
-
Didn't see it and don't know much about Quansah but he's English and Transfer Market has him worth 22m, not that this fact means fuck all.
-
I doubt anything less than 80M, and I'd push for more.
-
Yea I missed that. Sounds rather dodgy reporting but who knows. Lots of things in football are dodgy to be fair.
-
I'll bite. While selling Gordon for 80M has it's upside, the squad morale and dressing room dynamic may take a dive. Gordon can play RW just fine although some on here just don't agree which is reasonable. I like Barnes alot and since I do not know the budget we have I'd not make that move unless the budget was zero. Flash will be a center piece next year.

That was indeed a great read. So sorry to see her move on. She made things happen and was a passionate supporter. I would guess she's got a place in the clubs history now.
-
We agree I think he's a bit better on the left but he's fine on the right. I think he's better the Almiron on the right. That is my opinion. I like Miggy coming on later in a game so this doesn't seem dire to me.
-
Gordon is good at it. He's played plenty there and with Tino backing him up I think he'd be fine.
-
I would agree, but new season and new outlook for the gaffer I would hope.
-
Why would the default front 3 not be Gordon, Barnes and Isak? Why would Miggy get in before Gordon and yes, he absolutely can play RW.

Better chance of signing Messi next week. Brighton paid good money for Minteh and Forrest did us a solid.
