  1. Given Tripps shite delivery from corners on Saturday I’d definitely give someone a share of the responsibility when taking on the LHS.
  2. Wouldn’t surprise me if someone like Deloitte’s sports finance practice has already developed a model for FFP calculation. I’d have gone all out day 1 to develop that and flog it around the various clubs and leagues if based in that division of my respective firm.

Multiple accounts on the same forum is always the hallmark of someone who’s not quite the full deck. Some might even say a sociopath.
  4. Here’s hoping. Fernandez, Caicedo, Fofana, Cucarella and Mudryk looks a chunky portion of £400+m of transfer fees alone pissed away.
  5. Few quid for Fraser and/or save the last £3.5m of his contract. Then it’s squad player sales potentially, likes of Murphy, Miggy, Wilson, Burn etc. Nuclear option is the Bruno exit. Think Lascelles will sign on for another year or two as cover, if he does maybe even sell next summer or in January 2025 to recoup a few quid. It’ll be a wheeler dealer fest this year I reckon.
  6. Wor Callum caught in Glutenwashing scam.
  7. £150m thank you please.
  8. Given our record at the JJB I wouldn’t. Especially Wist Am under a poor Moyes run at the time and Villa under CarpetHeed.
  9. With wonky font and the fruits of @Heron’s raiding of the Byker Household Waste Recycling Centre?
  10. As well as being a hypocritical little shitebag?
  11. Thogden making an appearance in the stands?
  12. Possibly - PL sides at the earlier stages often rest players, don’t take it as seriously. I’d have taken Fulham at home (rather than away) in the draw yesterday, particularly with their fixture congestion via the Carabao over an away trip to say a bang up for it Sheffield Wednesday. Take your point on Rochdale and Tranmere who should rightly be cannon fodder though.
  13. Wasn’t this your first domestic away cup draw since 2021, excluding semi finals/finals? https://www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11095/12971344/man-utd-make-history-with-12th-successive-home-cup-draw
  14. Think that’s what it’ll be. Likes of Heffernan, Neave, Shahar, Sanusi etc are about 2-3 years from being battle ready if they live up to their potential. However, Murphy is already that age and hasn’t been trusted by Howe really, even when Schar and Lascelles have been limping about during games.
  15. Underrated tweet. Remember the old Black and White club videos and seeing the Lister Storm at its brand spanking new best. Wonder where it is now.
  16. As long as he’s back for the cup.
  17. Not the best, not the worst. Hoping between injuries, suspensions and fatigue they’ll be less than primed to play us on the Saturday.
  18. 2-1 win Shearer and Big Dunc? Some day that. People complaining about bogs at football today never did those netties. Pissing on walls, sinks and out the window. One of my first aways too.
  19. Ahahahahajajajahhahahahahahahaha!!!!! ???????
  20. Can’t find anything online about Milburn being a boyhood Sunderland fan. Another mackem urban myth?
  21. It’s a combination of factors, many of which you’ve mentioned. The current ticketing situation and ID requirements leans towards ST holders now which again, leans towards people who can afford them. @Paully and others have articulated the shift this is creating well. As a former ST holder now based down the other end of the country I used to be able to get a healthy share of those games where people would struggle to get to them - E.g midweek London, Midlands, South Coast games. With the new system and as a member only I don’t get a sniff.
  22. Also camera phones, CCTV and banning orders mean even if you do kick off there’s likely to be a lovely trail of evidence leading straight to your door and employer. Is it really worth it?
