I actually agree, he needs to be coached better. When he's on form he's very good, hence why big clubs would pay over 50 mil for him. He should be driving at defenders and shooting, not putting in crap crosses. This is 100% a coaching/tactical issue. It's concerning that a lot of players arrive here with a confident playstyle and it gets slowly Howed out of them. Barnes used to look for a one-two and shoot, he's like a eunuch lately.

As a caveat, I will say Harvey Barnes has been even worse the past month or so.

But we play really boring stuff a lot of the time, the obsession with going wide and looking for overlaps is so dull to watch, just cross it first time without an overlap, also why do we have it drilled in to the players to go wide constantly, why is there no central play.
