I played for Newcastle for 5 years from 94-99, 2 years YTS , 3 years pro Mostly Reserves , I did make the squad for a Uefa cup game v Monaco , but was left out as the 17th man. Biggest Highlight was probably scoring against York reserves , winning 2-1 with John Barnes scoring the other.

New formation too ! She’s just turned 18 , So it’s only the beginning with Newcastle, who knows maybe in a few years they can get into the WSL. Unbelievably proud.

Entering ballot as a group Man City 4 tickets all looking good (I have linked accounts- family relationship) with wife , son and daughter just before I click to apply the notes section says please note you must have a strong relationship to be able to sit together So I try to change linked account statute from family to strong relationship it doesn’t let you even if you delete the current relationship log out log back in it says the person already has a relationship so I had to re-link as a family member not sure what the crack is , but if you applying as a group and as a family surely you will be all sat together if successful There is no way to change current relationship if family (to strong relationship) Anyone had a similar experience or have been successful (just with family relationship) this season (and all sat together) not sure if this is a new thing implemented as it didn’t say that for villa game !!

Tight game , Sunderland probably deserved to win to be fair but the gap is closing. Sunderland have a hybrid model (so half professional/ half not) and have been playing at the championship for 3/4 years Newcastle only started officially as professional on august 1st and still adding staff on and getting used to the day to day challenges of being professional. In 1 year there won’t be any difference between the two in terms of standard. It will be nip n tuck this year for Newcastle in the league as all the team need to gel. Newcastle have a decent start though and could get off to a flyer !
