We've had hard away games in fairness. Man City, Brighton, Milan and now Dortmund. Any team would struggle with those the same way we have/are.
-
Fullkrug has Lascelles number on all these long balls. Seems to be winning every one .
-
This ref has gone early with the cards unsurprisingly.
-
Bad timing
-
Fullkrug looks like every Sunday League player I've seen mixed into one.
-
Seems a bit odd we aren't wearing the blue kit.
-
Well that's Willock fucked.
-
Not nervous at all for this.
-
Ref for tonight. Perhaps this is the night Bruno gets given the his marching orders. Last thing we need is this kind of ref.

If we pay the same loan fee and adhere to the same rules that any other Prem clubs would do, then why? Why should Chelsea or Aresnal or Liverpool have the option to loan Neves or any other player from Saudi and improve their squad but not ourselves if its all above board and proven to be so.

I'd hate to see him go to Barcelona. They're whole deal now is ridiculous and they are living of their past glory just like Man Utd. Real Madrid on the other hand would be fine. I'd be alright with that assuming it's a good whack of money and it's his choice to leave.
-
4 of those are goalkeepers though. Its less about what we have available and more about how absolutely knackered the ones we have available will be after the amount of games they play. More minutes for players = more injuries. More injuries = more minutes for already tired players. It's a vicious cycle that thankfully well have some respite from because of the International break. But after that the fixture congestion is even worse.
-
So 8 injuries and only 2 of those are timescales are measured in weeks rather than months. That's ridiculous. Isak coming back will be huge, just hope he can get right back into it quicly. Thank fuck Willock has come back and hit the ground running else we'd be seriously screwed.

I'm not saying scrap red cards, that would be ridiculous. I'm saying in general a sin bin rule could be put into play alongside the current rules.
-
Id be all for bringing in a "sin bin" card. Whereby physical challenges/tackles are still punished with the usual yellow cards but you get a 10 minute sin bin as well for anything that would be considered reckless or dangerous play. Seems unfair you can injure an opposing player who may then have to be substituted or get treatment on the sideslines while the offending player carries on the game.

Gordon really has to be in the next squad there's no sensible reason to exclude him, especially if Southgate is not going to bring Sterling back into things with England. Wilson and Pope are in with a shout but could go either way based on other players in their positions (Watkins, Nketiah, Ramsdale, Johnstone) Willock has no chance this next squad and would have to be a "wildcard" kind of entry at one of the last sqauds before the end of the season to even be in with a shout. Longstaff unfortunately I don't think is going to get anywhere near the England team. He absolutely deserves it but unless 2 of Philips, Henderson and Gallagher are out I think he sticks with those for the Euros. Trippier is a shoe in.
-
The most annoying thing about this situation with the Havertz challenge is how quick the ref has the yellow out his pocket. He's got it out a split second after the tackle, whether he thinks that'll calm the Newcastle players down or not? Maybe, but it actually does the opposite and angers Schar and Tripper particularly even more so. I understand he has to make the decision at some point but perhaps he should speak to the linesman or 4th official who were stood a yard or two away first.

Oh well, a draw is still a shit result for Liverpool.
-
Nunez is a greedy bastard.
-
Not having a shit life off the pitch and the team doing well on the pitch probably helps somewhat to decrease the cuntyness in any player.
-
The ROTW team would have so much technical quality though, it would certainly be a tough game. I don't know if I'd be able to call the result with any certainty.
-
Villa really struggling to create good chances let alone score a goal.

Great start. Hope Forrest win
