Really needs to be 2 but if it must only be 1 then RW is certainly what it needs to be. CDM is important but we hugely lack goals and creativity to break down defensive teams, especially when Wilson and Bruno are out so RW I think should take priority. Pulisic is the dream ofcourse but can't see that happening and Harrison seems very unlikely now so they'd need to pull soemthing out the bag in the next few days.

Terrible time to be playing this lot. No Bruno, No Wilson, Tripper potentially out, ASM potentially out. Only saving grace is that they have their own injury troubles but that didn't stop them scoring 9 so perhaps they aren't really troubles at all. I'm not by any means saying we'll roll over because I don't think we will. Just have alot less confidence going into this than I would've 2/3 weeks ago.

From what I can tell, pulling of shirts isn't specifically mentioned in the the FA Laws, which does seem very odd as there is all sorts of nonsense in there The closest you get is "holds an opponent or impedes an opponent with contact" Never does it mention about the duration of the holding or how long you impede a player as being a condition of an offence. I do hope the club are noting all these incidents down and/or reporting them to relevant authorities. It can't keep happening every season.

It's poor because we were fairly lucky to get a draw from it. Stats can prove whatever you want them to, possession means very little as we know from the Man City game. 15 of those 21 shots were either off target or blocked (that's poor) and as much as I love an XG stat you don't get points for winning by XG. I'll conceded that whilst I do think it was poor today the caveat of not having Bruno and Wilson does make a huge difference and should obviously be taken into account.

I disagree. Would anyone have really felt aggrieved had we lost that 1-0? I wouldn't have. The goal they scored was fortunate but very well taken and they missed 2 other huge chances that could've take the game away from us well before we equalised.

The official line was "injured in midweek" . That sounds more like Tranmere to me. Ridiculous decision to bring him on in that game, no hindsight needed at all, the majority of people said it at the time that there's no point risking him in that game.

We've had 2 poor games in our first 4 yet we are still unbeaten. The fact Liverpool are coming up next is perhaps no bad thing, I think we need a wake up call. Whether that be proving that we can compete with the top clubs and get results consistently or just showing how far we still have yet to go.

Well that's much better! Shows how difficult our start has been with City and Brighton in the first 3 games. Liverpool stil to come within our first 5.

One more signing, be that loan of permanent and I'll be content with that. Ideally a RW or DM but a CAM would also do if it was someone who could improve the starting XI rather than a squad player. Alvarez has been touted and he'd certainly do. I think bringing in a player like him which would allow Bruno to play as an 8 would negate the immediate need for new Attacking Midfielder and perhaps somewhat lessen the need for a RW as Almirom and Bruno do work very well together ans Isak can play that position if needed.

They are a good team but struggle to hit a barn door. Heard a stat last week that they've had something like 44 shots without scoring now. They've made good signings in Nunes and Guedes but they are outright goalscorers. It's going to be a close one but we've got Isak now hopefully to make an appearance and get us a win.
