That's ridiculous, why the ref has even blown for that in the first place and then why VAR has not told him to check it. That's a nothing foul that didn't need to be given and it's cost Palace a goal.

I suppose this could all be a big ploy by the Palace media team and they are just holding out for as long as possible in the hope someone else comes in for him. Maybe the time it's taking has nothing at all to do with the money offered for Guehi and more to do with Palace stalling for time.

Almost unheard of. Especially considering Guehi did an interview speaking about it also. Feels like Palace think the more it's in the media the easier it is to justify the inflated price.

I do agree with that up to a point. We don't know how he feels about this how situation and that could be a factor in whether he's in the right frame of mind to play or not.

Few hours and we'll have a better idea of how advanced any bids/talks are. If Guehi actually starts you'd imagine we're still a way off with any agreement. Anything else and you'd think the deal has a good chance of getting done this week, especially if he's not even in the squad, that seems unlikely though.

Certainly wasn't his best game but in fairness we had so little of the ball it was always going to be a battle for him. No judgement on him yet, I will see how he gets on against Bournemouth, Spurs and Wolves before having any real opinion either way.

I think people are going to start watching him a bit closer now after what happened in the summer. Only thing that will stop that is him signing a new deal.
