That depends on how you feel about missing out on Europa and getting Conference instead. Pope starts that Man Utd game and we win it and go into Brentford with far more confidence. If you're happy with Conference League then yes just beat Brentford and we've (maybe) got that.

What would be a kicker is if Ramsdale coming in stop us from signing a RW or a ST. That would be a big mistake, but hopefully that won't be the case and the people at the top know what needs to be done. They've done very little wrong in terms of transfers so far.

I'm not entirely against Ramsdale. I would absolutely prefer Mamardashvili over him like most other people. What bugs me about Ramsdale is the potential fee we will have to pay AND the fact that it's to another PL team. Just feels like there are more cons to bringing in Ramsdale than there is pros.

We gave them trouble but we had trouble putting the ball into the net at the end of it. They didn't defend well, we finished very badly. Brighton are not clinical finishers. I imagine Man Utd will get something from that game. We really need to win ours.

Can't tell if you really personally overvalue Murphy or undervalue Longstaff because despite what alot of Newcastle fans will say he's worth far more than that. Can't see the club letting him leave at all and if they did then it's £20M minimum in the summer especially after his goal output this season.

It's not impossible that Sheff U go infront early on against Spurs, they've done it recently against Forrest, ourselves and Man Utd. That would at least make it interesting for a brief moment! But if they actually go on and beat Spurs it would be totally ridiculous stuff.

Not much of a break for those players on International duty this summer. Perhaps those players won't be taking part in this tour? I'm thinking about Gordon and Bruno mainly as they have the highest chance of getting deep in their respective tournaments. But Schar could also get alot of game time.

Neither have been particularly impressive in that first half. But that could be more down to the fact neither team seem to really want to attack the game, which is understandable given it's the first leg. I think Gnonto would cost a bit more but then again it will depend if either of these teams go up as well.

Jonathan Rowe of Norwich who we were linked with in January and last summer. Currently playing against Leeds in the Play Off Semi Final. 12 goals and 5 Assists this season. Would be a fairly cheap replacement for Miggy/Murphy.
