They beat us fairly comprehensively at their place. This will be a draw I reckon, 2-2 probably. But Gordon being out is going to harm our ability to score and create anything massively. The shuffle of the backline might be a blessing in disguise in some respects.

I thought the same thing at the start of this season when we were linked. But I've changed my mind entirely on him. He deserves that call up no doubt about it.

Foden could easily be in the midfield category in that list though. But I do agree it seems excessive, I imagine he'll play two entirely different teams in each match and wants to see as many of the "maybe" players as he can.

Replace Henderson with someone else and that's a very decent squad. Surprisingly chock full of attackers, which perhaps highlights how few good CMs we have right now. Glad to see Braithwaite and Gomez getting a call up, need to get them both some international experience as we're lacking quality in that area also. I'd still take any of Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliot, Ward-Prowse or Eze over Henderson though. Even Willock.

It's one of those that looks like a foul/penalty if you just look at the still image of the contact, but when you see it as a whole and the way Doku has gone in for it I think the right decsion was made at the time. They'll pinch some up and coming manager from L1 or L2, ruin his career in the space of 6 months and move onto the next one. Any manager with a slight bit of sense should steer well clear for the foreseeable future. Perhaps they should just employ Steve Evans and be done with it, he'd suit them lot perfectly.

All I know of Toney is what I see on the pitch and in his interviews. Could be wrong, but seems like he would break the clubs "no dickheads" policy. Nketiah is a good shout, but is he really desperate to move to another club where he's 100% second choice. Would seema bad move for his career. Even if Isak isn't going to play 30 games a season.

We've got ALOT of very good, exciting attacking players right now. The problems lie further back amongst the defence and the central midfielders. It'll be incredibly depressing to see Henderson start our first game of the tournament, I can only hope he's injured to force Southgates hand elsewhere. A front 4 of Kane, Saka, Foden and Bellingham is as good as its been for England in a long long time. Add to that a bang on form Gordon and Watkins and we've got decent options as well.

They play two friendlies on 23rd and 26th of this month so you imagine it'll be sometime in the next 2 weeks.

Not saying Gordon wouldn't have also dived there but that's a reason alone not to have Rashford ahead of him, he gave up and Man City go om a score from it. If he stays uo and holds the ball until help arrives then they don't go on to concede in that moment after (probably).
